Lukaku wasn't that bad last year. He's a lump, but he was a lump with pace and scoring some good goals last season.
Sanchez and Lukaku are both Sunday league players this year, which is par for the course with decent players joining us the last few years

That GIF of Jones heading the ball against Arsenal after he tripped is comedy gold. Still makes me laugh to this day. I would appreciate someone posting with more technical ability than me! At least Jones has been good for a laugh the past few years.

Jones overall record is now 5 goals scored, 5 own goals scored. Bizarre.

He got the ball away and it obviously went out for a goal kick/away from the attacker. It sums Jones up for me. Good defending, but ridiculous to get himself in that position in the first place.

Otherwise he would be somewhat useful

Phil Jones when he's good is fucking amazing. When he's bad he's fucking dire.

Phil Jones when he's good is fucking amazing. When he's bad he's fucking dire. Yep. Sadly, I think it's past the point where the dire can be justified by the amazing. Jones shouldn't be anything other than 4th or 5th choice really, and that slot would be better filled by a promising youngster like Tuanzabe. I'd sooner keep him than Rojo though!

Rojo doesn't give the opposition as many gifts. He's more of a dirty snide kind of defender, with a few penalties thrown in. That injury has hampered him so much. Jones isn't a very intelligent defender. It's all too last ditch with him. He will be targeted on Sunday for sure.

Rojo at centre half is good. Hard to believe him at LB is the same player.

Rojo gives the opposition gifts by either getting sent off, or doing a tackle that is worthy of a sending off, most games. He's a complete liability and renewing his contract was one of the worst things that has happened under Jose (though he may not have had a choice).

Its sad seeing how far Jones has fallen. I was excited when we first signed him from Blackburn and he showed great potential but unfortunately now he's the butt of many jokes. Hopefully he salvages his career elsewhere.
