The scousers had three shots on target all game at Brighton at the weekend. Just saying. Excellent performance in the first half. We still have to see games out by keeping the fucking ball better instead of panicking when defending a lead. I doubt we ever had 8 shots on target away to any top team during Jose's time here I don't think we panicked, ever . We were under the cosh but we had 3 chances saved in the 2nd half too. We took our chances. They didn't. Fair enough. I thought there were periods in that second half when we unnecessarily cleared the ball just anywhere instead of trying to keep it and thus invited more pressure. Panic, not having the confidence in our defenders ability to calmly pass the ball forward or knackered midfielders who did not make themselves available.

were far from being the finished article but its superb atm. what a buzz. most teams will have less of the ball away at spurs. this was a classic away performance. another day that could have easily been 3-3.
we have Super Dave.
rashford is turning into a beast, his value will be rocketing up.
great to see Pogba fulfilling is potential now too. what a player hes turning into. hes going to score a shit load more this season

another thing, under Jose no way Fred Pereira Dalot be the bench against these. would have definitely been Fellaini (if he didn't start) and Darmian.
great to see the younger players getting the trust from the manager.
theres only 1 way this is going and its the deadwood out the club

Truly enjoyed this, being on the edge of my seat on the 2nd half is part of the fun (well.. when we win). DDG back to his best - seems like he's also enjoying his football again now that Jose is gone. Lindelof with a marvelous performance and will be so much better once we partner him with a highly accomplished CB.
6/6 for Ole, really impressive stuff and regardless of who will be our next full-time manager, I'm just glad we can enjoy this with a real club legend.

We don't have the defenders to do what you're asking barring our Viking God Lindelof . This is why we needed desperate reinforcement in the position. I'm perfectly happy with them thumping the ball clear.

Great win but lets not kid ourselves though, it could have been a lot different. They battered us in the second half and really should have scored 2/3/4 goals at least.
That said, it keeps the feel good factor going so long may it continue!

That said, it keeps the feel good factor going so long may it continue! We battered them at home and lost 3-0 so I'll take last nights result all day long regardless of how it could have turned out.
