The Sun say Real want to buy Hazard, Dybala and Rashford in the summer. They will apparently fund this partly through making Kovacic's loan permanent, selling Isco to Chelsea, and Bale to us. Obviously it's The Sun, but imagine what a horror show of a summer that would be... Imagine basically swapping Bale and Rashford  Then realise that the sun are cunts. We gave Rooney a 5 and a half year deal when he was washed up! Never underestimate stupidity! |

The problem with Ed is that he is so bad at his job that he makes The Sun's bullshit sound plausible. I would be horrified if we essentially swapped Rashford for Bale. But would I be that surprised? If I would be, it's only because of Rashford's potential commercial value, not because of his talent or ties to the club. |

although i am seeing that lukaku is being offered to Madrid. i think that would suit all parties if we got the right money for him

There’s definitely been some legs in this one. We definitely tried to get him during the summer of Moyes. This was prime Ed, wasting a summer chasing unattainable targets. |

The Evening Standard say Ed will release 'significant' funds in the summer, and that Koulibaily is our top target. However, they say we had 2 bids rejected in January despite him wanting to come, and that if we still can't get him the Alderwiereld, Skriniar, Romagnoli and Maguire are the backups.

The only argument I can think of for Maguire ahead of some of the others is ticking home-grown boxes - and even then we could just do that by giving Tuanzabe a proper chance.
Alderwiereld just makes by far the most sense IMO, though I definitely wouldn't say no to Koulibaly provided he doesn't eat up almost all of our budget.
