It was a bad performance against a very well organised, well coached side who have been causing problems for all the top teams this season. Not an excuse but it's going to take a lot more than this to get me off the Ole train. I know we lost against Arsenal last week as well but that was a weird game which we could've won by 4 or 5 on another day.
As I said, the international break is usually the last thing you want after a defeat because you want to rectify it straight away but I think it comes at a good time for us. I think the players look a bit knackered, lots returning from injury and not quite fully fit. Hopefully we can get a couple of them off lightly during the internationals and some, like Martial may get back up to speed by playing.
I'm not shocked by how quick some have decided to stick the knife in as well. Like people have been dying for a chance to criticise Ole. Let them get on with it. All I know is that the last few months have been the most I've enjoyed football for years, despite the last week.

No he doesn’t show up every game, not even going to pretend he does. He’s not Keane, not close. And maybe if we are in a position whereby we have talent like that of Keane’s throughout the side we can think about replacing him. But as of now we are nowhere near that and whatever it says about us Pogba is probably our best outfield player so I think he’s one of the last we need to look at replacing. Ah, so Pogba gets a pass because. So, this time next year when the lads can't be arsed (again, in plenty of cases), it will be "thanks Ole but no thanks" and the players get another free pass. And then excuses get made to give the players another season to sack another manager. Yippee Comparing the energy of our midfield with the dross yesterday, I have to say I would much rather he goes back to Pereira, Fred and McTominay for the next game. The 3 of them were absolutely terrier-like against PSG. The 3 yesterday were fucking lethargic and shite. Although for Matic and Herrera they are just returning from injury so I'll give them slight leeway. No excuse for Pogba, Martial and Rashford to be as poor as they were. I hope Ole has taken after Ferguson. No way would the boss be quiet after a performance like that .

People 'have never really been convinced' about Ole. Seriously?
They were two tough away games in anybody's book at the Emirates and at Wolves.
In fact at Arsenal we played okay but last night was a shit-show. It happens.
Not being disrespectful to anybody on here but I don't get it when you look at Ole's record in it's entirely up to now.

Despite also just returning from injury? Doesn’t seem fair.

It feels like we have just blown our chance of stopping Citeh doing the quadruple... We'll do that in Madrid. We will get our arses handed to us against Barca! Again, why did the players who did well against PSG get dropped? The penalty against Arsenal was soft, no Fred for the next game. I also think playing Herrera and Matic together is too negative.

A small picky point- it seemed like massive overkill to have 3 CMs on the bench and only Mata as a forward option. I know Greenwood is out but where was Chong?

As good as the record was there are other things to consider. We were a mess when he took over. Morale was rock bottom and it certainly helped we had an easier run of fixtures to gain the momentum we did. Out of those games I listed 5 where we very lucky to win. Chelsea and Arsenal have easier fixtures than us unfortunately. I don’t think we’ll get top 4. There was always very little margin for error because we were so far behind in the league.

After what ole has done we just have to calm down and give him the time to rectify his few mistakes. Anything else is just silly really.

Paul Ince, is that you? I imagine I’ll regret this but anyway- What were the 5 games we were supposedly lucky to win? Spurs and?

And I also Ive always thought it was unfair to have making top 4 some sort of prerequisite to Ole getting the job permanently, given how far we were off it when he came in.

If anything Matic is a lot more culpable. Martial was infuriating though. We have to go back to McT , Fred and Pereira. Very unfair that they've been left out the last 2 games. They've been excellent.

Perhaps it's unfair, but Ole raised the bar for himself. Given where we were before the Arsenal game, I think not getting top 4 would now be a disappointment - but that in itself is a credit to the work he did between coming in and that game.

We could have easily lost against PSG had they taken their chances as much as I enjoyed the win. We were lucky against Southampton in that second half. We needed a last minute goal to draw against Burnley. 3 of those games were at home. We also don't seem to have an answer for teams that are difficult to break down which is why I think our results have been better away from home.

We weren’t lucky to beat Soton, we were the better team. Last minute goal has nothing to do with it. Leicester had a few chances but they were at home so no more than usual. Chelsea were lucky to beat Fulham and quite a few others recently in that case.
Brighton yes, we were hanging on a bit. Spurs we probably should have drawn, which would still have been a good result. Burnley yes.
PSG? What chances, bar Mbappe’s did they really miss? We might have been lucky to win by 2 goals but we were worth the win.
So what, 3 games we had a bit of luck? Which is almost balanced by the losses to Arsenal and the first game against PSG, where we had no luck at all.
