This window could have been a lot, lot worse. As long as Ighalo doesn't limit Greenwood's progression it'll have been ok for us TBH, compared to most Januaries anyway.

Of course if we were a better run club we’d have had someone in weeks ago as soon as we knew Rashford was struggling, then we may have seen a more desirable name.
As it is, we aren’t a well run club and just getting a body in the squad for 6 months will suffice. Prem proven and you know what you’ve got, won’t play that much anyway.

Send him back at the end of the season. Get a new striker in the summer. Move on.

To be honest with don't mind him starting either, especially at the moment with our lack of options. Martial - Ighalo - James Fred - Fernandes - Pereira Considering our options that's not a terrible front 6. Think people have completely written him off already before he's even given a chance. Scores a few goals and people will chance their opinion. We know he's not the best option but he's here now, may as well get the best out of it. Hope he does well. Also a united fan growing up so there's that aswell. |
