Think we all need to calm down a bit. It's frustrating, yes, but I'm sure Ole will learn quite a lot from this game. And we really weren't bad today.

No he has not scored fucking countless penalties for us Marcus !!!!! You can count on both fucking hands how many he's scored and how many he's missed. Rashford saying the same thing as Ole makes me dead certain that this is what he's been told to say. Or thats how it actually is. Be the players best friends and all that bollocks.

I'm with Neville anyway. This is a much more likeable Man United team. Young, full of energy and exciting. Plenty of them are going to learn with each game.
Lacking a few quality additions particularly in the middle of the park but it's a good starting block for a good team.

That penalty completely embodies Pogbas United career.

Thought we played really well overall tonight, i definitely think we’re on the right track. If we can draft in a couple of midfielders and a right winger, I don’t think we’ll be that far off.

Lovely bloke but let’s be honest, there’s literally one major club in Europe who’d have given Mata a two year deal at this stage in his career. Completely baffling.

We have had better results in both matches compared with the corresponding fixtures last season. A bit frustrating considering the peno, but not bad overall.
Better first half, but I actually liked the way we regrouped in the second half a few minutes after that belter from Neves, whereas we’d have collapsed last season. The goal was extremely similar to the one they scored at OT in the sense that it’s mind boggling that we had no one covering the edge of the box.
I was shocked that Pogba went to take the peno after last week. Lack of leadership from the manager.
A couple of average performances, but they can’t all perform brilliantly every week. As long as they put in a shift they deserve credit as far as I’m concerned. Excellent team effort overall.

Jesse was awful today. I like him but we need so much more from him.

Huge positive is the defence and defensive acquisitions again. Took a screamer to score. Wan-Bissaka doesn't get beat and Maguire rock solid and showing leadership qualities.

I still think there’s a place for him as a squad player, but my faith is starting to falter. It’s a while since he’s done something significant. Got to admit it’s probably only my love for him that’s making me think he should stay and have a role. God, we still have so much work to do. Did we even get half of it done this summer?
