If Lingard starts next game I’ll start to lose faith.

Think we all need to calm down a bit. It's frustrating, yes, but I'm sure Ole will learn quite a lot from this game. And we really weren't bad today. This. Easy to forget out last visit to Molineux.

Huge positive is the defence and defensive acquisitions again. Took a screamer to score. Wan-Bissaka doesn't get beat and Maguire rock solid and showing leadership qualities. The screamer was preventable with basic defensive organisation though, that’s what irks me. And I wouldn’t be surprised if that one was on the coaching staff too tonight (by failing to predict Neves would hang out in that obvious place and plan accordingly), though we don’t know for sure.

Lovely bloke but let’s be honest, there’s literally one major club in Europe who’d have given Mata a two year deal at this stage in his career. Completely baffling. Yeah I think there's a blind spot with Mata. We're building a young, exciting team with loads of pace and energy. He just doesn't belong. We obviously should've made another signing or 2 but even with the squad we have now, Mata doesn't get on the bench for me. Sooner have Fred and Gomes on the bench instead of Mata and Matic.

I reckon we’ll look back in a month and say it was a good point at a tough ground. I said on page 1 a draw wouldn’t be a bad result. But the totally preventable nature of said draw was immensely frustrating. Not for the first time, we’ve been undone by ourselves more than by our opponents.

That window still fucks me off, because Lingard gets to play and Mata, who was done in this team 18 months ago gets a 3 year contract and is the go to on the bench FFS. James is a nifty little player for the future but he is a left winger with a bit of Championship experience.. There is no ball winner in midfield either none of them can tackle
There's nothing on that bench you would say could really change the game and they will probably run out of steam again if we get a couple of injuries
2 points lost tonight.. Ole sort it out with Pogba FFS

I still think there’s a place for him as a squad player, but my faith is starting to falter. It’s a while since he’s done something significant. Got to admit it’s probably only my love for him that’s making me think he should stay and have a role. God, we still have so much work to do. Did we even get half of it done this summer? You’ve pretty much proved my point in your post.

Just seeing Nev and Carragher doing their predictions for the season and Nev has Maddison as his young player. I'd take him in a heartbeat. Imagine him in this side at #10 instead of Lingard.

Yeah he is excellent! They will wait until they sell Pogba and get him and a decent DM with the money A top club like Athleti, Real, Barca City etc would have bought him and a decent DM to play with Pogba and try and keep him Net spend FC

I think Sanchez is literally one of the worst signings in Utd’s recent history but I’m no longer sure we can afford to let him go. Maybe it’s reactionary but we’re paper thin.
