I’d try pushing Pogba further forward, in place of Lingard. Play Fred or Pereria alongside Scott. Worth a shot. He might rediscover his shooting boots and score a THUNDERBASTARD or 2.

Personally, I’m torn about the result - it’s a tough ground to go to, and a draw is an improvement on us losing last season, but the reality is that we had the game in our hands till pretty much the exact same point as last season: we had a few moments to make it 2:0, failed to do it, and Wolves capitalized on that and had came back to the game. Glad we didn’t concede 2 again during their 10 good minutes.
I think we must look for a player who can make the runs Lingard makes, but actually has an end product. Lingard is just not at a high enough level. Also, for the time being, I think Daniel James should be used as an impact sub and tear tired defenses apart with his speed - I think he’ll be much more valuable to us that way while he’s getting used to the PL.

I haven't read through the whole thread so my apologies in advance...
I watched the whole match at the pub and I watched the replays of the VAR decision on the Wolves goal...
From what I could see, he looked offside so I don't understand why it wasn't given...
So two / three things:
I assume it was discussed on here...what was the conclusion?
I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere in the media...have I missed it?
Or was I just wrong in what I saw?

No technique at all. It’s not even as if the ball fires into him. It’s a really good pass from AWB. I used to not mind Lingard but he’s drove me mad

Daniel James in the match against Wolves showed that he is better than Andreas Pereira and should play at the start XI He's very fast and also young enough that he's got a lot of room/time to improve. Seems like a great guy and he's stoked to be playing for United, so that's the right attitude but he's got to learn to be craftier. He seems like another academy player on the fringes (Garner, Greenwood, Gomes, Chong) instead of a new signing meant to shore up our right sided attack. Those highlights are not very impressive though.

The AWB is overrated comments have already started on Reddit... It was always going to happen eventually, but the twats could at least wait for him to have a bad game.

Honestly reddit is a cesspool of shit as is twitter. I’ve never heard racism uttered on here and yet apparently pogba is getting smashed with it on Twitter. One of the biggest clubs in the world with fans from every corner apparently attacking Pogba according to the media. Never occurred to anyone that wind up merchants and trolls are behind it.
