Not worst result but everyone outside of Martial/AWB was below last week’s level.
Couple exciting moments from James but largely out of his depth. He’ll improve but the flopping around everywhere is a terrible look.
Would LOVE for United to go after Neves nxt summer.

Watched the highlights on MUTV and if Martial was sharper he’d have scored 3 in the first half. The Rashford cross he didn’t get on the end of and the mis-hit back pass both should have been scored. It’s fine margins at this level, but the 1-1 is really flattering to Wolves. 3 from Martial plus the penalty converted would have been a fair score line. I think we are looking better than this draw shows. James also fizzed in 3 low crosses that no one hit. We created enough chances, and in a few weeks when everyone is at maximum, I think we will convert a lot more of those chances. Still could probably do with a midfield addition in January.

I love Ole and what he's bringing to the club but tactically I dont think hes got much. Some say he's learning but for 3 consecutive games we've failed to beat wolves or hold on to a lead. Players are to blame aswell but the manager by now has to have some sort of plan on how to actualy get in behind that Wolves midfield and Defence. I was bitterly disappointed that we failed to beat them again as I marked this game as a Benchmark of our TRUE level this seaaon. I dont know why he thought a midfield 2 would be a match against a midfield 5 that battered us last season. Most PL can now look to wolves tactics on how to stop us as its worked successfully for 3 consecutive games. Yes we could have scored a penalty but they could have had 2 if the ball went in off the post or De gea so....
There are some positives from last season with the defence but thats about it
Ole needs to step up quick tactics wise.

Huge positive is the defence and defensive acquisitions again. Took a screamer to score. Wan-Bissaka doesn't get beat and Maguire rock solid and showing leadership qualities. The screamer was preventable with basic defensive organisation though, that’s what irks me. And I wouldn’t be surprised if that one was on the coaching staff too tonight (by failing to predict Neves would hang out in that obvious place and plan accordingly), though we don’t know for sure. Well, Neves had that one in the top right hand bin pretty quickly, the second it came over to him. You can have all the basic defensive organisation in the world but if it’s a worldie in off the woodwork top right, I don’t think there’s much you can really do. Just my view on it. If not there, he could have scored it from another area that we weren’t expecting.

I have no problem Ole making a few mistakes provided he learns from them. Nobody is perfect but that post match interview was just where nonsense.
Don't understand why Lingard gets the nod over Pereira either who I thought had a decent game against Chelsea last weekend. Was clear McTominay was struggling during that 2nd half aswell but he left him on. Little things like that are what needs addressing.
I'll be pissed if I see Pogba anywhere near another penalty, hoping that's one mistake Ole has already learned from.

still annoyed at last nights results. put at other top 4 contender in this scenario and they come away with 3 points.
Liverpool take so many points from fucking penalties as they have a dedicated taker. then they have very good back ups.
goal scoring bonuses should not include penalties. Pogba has to deselect himself from penalties now its totally not on how many he has missed.
rashford with Martial as the back up.
Ole needs to get a handle on this and also sort his subs out. Lingard should have been dragged at HT and James should have been close behind him. that way we go into the second half with an extra CM body in there to keep control of the game that we're cruising in.

It was a good point, it just should have been three excellent points.

Shaw’s so fucking frustrating at times. Never any fucking urgency in him. Did you miss the entire first half? Him making the odd run forward doesn't make up for dallying about on the ball far too often.

First time Shaw got exposed continuously as the weakest of the back 4. At least that peno miss didn’t have the run up, he did hit it with power, unlucky. Actually looked like it meant something that he missed. Also liked Martial hold up play. Neves will be Neves. Bollocks about Shaw. Complete bollocks. I'd agree that the 'continuously' bit is bollocks, at least in this game, but throughout the season, I do think it'll clearly show.

It's frustrating no doubt and over the length of the game we should of won, these will take points of plenty of teams, still plenty to learn but it's miles better then it was towards the end of last year Apart from missing the penalty what did we actually create in the second half? Could say that about the whole match baring one good moment from Martial. Lots of possession and control at times, but so little quality in the final third. We badly need more creativity. It's difficult when you've got Lingard playing in the position where you probably expect the most of that from, yet he's solely in the team for his fitness and pressing ability, and literally nothing else.

Fucking hell. So frustrating. It's a good point, but after that first half, the penalty miss, it should be 3 points. Tough place to go, but with the way it's gone, it's not good enough. Didn't create enough either. Lingard just does nothing. Luke shaw runs down the touchline for a few yards, stops and passes it back to his centre back. Fucking move your arse. We need 3 points. Mata came on and fucked up the 3 passes he made. Positive was a solid enough defence. AWB is a monster. Crazy he got booked. Jon Moss should have been sacked as a premier league referee years ago. That was more my point. I wasn't suggesting that he doesn't run, he clearly did in the first half. But towards the end of the game when a bit of urgency is needed, he receives the ball, does fuck all with it for 5 seconds, then just passes it back. No impetus to drive forward like you'd see the likes of Robertson doing.

We need players that can cross. The lack of crosses we put into the box is worrying. I'm sure Shaw used to put in a good ball. What happened? Now he just passeds to the nearest man instead of whipping it in. Frustrating. That's probably the last thing we need IMO. We need to learn to break teams down and not just punt it out wide then hope for the best. As mentioned in a previous post, it doesn't help when Lingard is our #10. We need someone like Maddison who can actually play in tight spaces with creativity and vision.
