My biggest worry is Europe, we dont have the squad to remain competitive in this PL and travel to every backwater in Europe. Our squad depth is shocking. I think Sanchez is literally one of the worst signings in Utd’s recent history but I’m no longer sure we can afford to let him go. Maybe it’s reactionary but we’re paper thin. It isn't reactionary. Compare everything Sanchez has achieved in his career vs everything Lingard has and tell me which one deserves to start every week just in case they find form.

Keep Sanchez, sell Lingard. Or keep Lingard for the Europa, then sell him. Wafer thin side. Need all we can.

Before the game I would have taken a point given how they usually dominate teams at home, but that was 2 points dropped and was fucking frustrating. Can't deny Neves' goal, no keeper is saving that but why did he have ao much time on the ball before hand.
Thought McTominay and Pogba were dreadful in the 2nd half, could barely string a pass together, we sat back too much and other than the goal they didn't really do much.
The penalty was a fucking farce, has to be all about Paul Pogba though. That needs to be him done with penalties now. Ultimately cost us the game. Worst penalty ratio of any player taking over 10 penalties in premier league history. He's missed 4 this year, what the fuck possessed him to take it when Rashford buried it last week. I love Ole but he needs to stop being so fucking nice all the time. Agree 100% with everything Neville said aswell, kick takers should be sorted before the game starts.
Also the shit Shaw seems to be getting is incredible. The lad lost Traore twice but generally played ok, Don't get the criticism when others were worse.
Thought James did well considering he was booked so early, never stopped running but was barely in the game in the 2nd half.
Also don't understand why we left it until the final 9 minutes to make a change when it was clear we needed fresh legs in the middle.
Really need to improve in the middle of the pitch. Pereira should be starting over Lingard.
Annoyed at that result.

That window still fucks me off, because Lingard gets to play and Mata, who was done in this team 18 months ago gets a 3 year contract and is the go to on the bench FFS. James is a nifty little player for the future but he is a left winger with a bit of Championship experience.. There is no ball winner in midfield either none of them can tackle There's nothing on that bench you would say could really change the game and they will probably run out of steam again if we get a couple of injuries 2 points lost tonight.. Ole sort it out with Pogba FFS My biggest worry is Europe, we dont have the squad to remain competitive in this PL and travel to every backwater in Europe. As much as I'd like to win the Europa again, we need to pretty much treat Europe like a reserve competition for me, we just do not have the squad to compete on all fronts. The league is paramount this season, I've always, always valued winning trophies over league finishes (other than 1st obviously) but this season we need to show we are better than some of our rivals, back as a realistic top 4 side, something of an attractive proposition to players. De Gea, AWB, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw, McTominay, Pogba, Martial, Rashford; none of them should take part in the Europa League unless we're in the semi's, save them for the league. Give the minutes to Romero, Dalot, Jones, Smalling, Bailly, Rojo, Young, Matic, Mata, Garner, Greenwood, Gomez, Chong.

Must admit, I was nervous last season with the back four we had playing these, we were sloppy and didn't look comfortable at all.
I was watching the game tonight so much more calmer and comfortable knowing we seem to have a solid back four now. As some have said, it took a worldy to beat them and anything else was dealt with comfortably, especially by wan Bissaka.
At least we can go into games this season not having to constantly worry about how we'll fare at the back.

Seems a bit odd really:
City complain about VAR when they should complain about the manager.
We complain about the manager when they should complain about VAR.

Lovely bloke but let’s be honest, there’s literally one major club in Europe who’d have given Mata a two year deal at this stage in his career. Completely baffling. Worst point of the window for me. Back on the game, Rashford takes the pen & we're top of the league. It's that simple for me. Forget the rest of the game, these are the margins.

Worst part of the window was not signing Tielmans, Ndombele, Fernandes or any other central midfielder that would've have guaranteed to improve us in the middle. Mata leaving the club is low on the list of priorities. I've got no problem him coming on either but don't leave it until the 81st minute. We could have replaced any of our midfield on the hour mark with ease tonight.

Very young team again. That's really promising, even our players that seem like they've been around forever are still young.

Just on Harry Maguire he's been absolutely outstanding in his first two games for us.
As i said at half time you'd swear he was playing with us for years in that centre half position.
I noticed towards the end of the game when the ball went out on this near side for a throw in to Wolves, he was shouting at the lads to concentrate.
Future captain, nailed on, in my opinion.

Think we all need to calm down a bit. It's frustrating, yes, but I'm sure Ole will learn quite a lot from this game. And we really weren't bad today. This is was one of those teachable moments where we’ve hopefully learned from the mistakes of today so won’t make the same ones tomorrow, or the next game that matters. I’m fine with days like today IF we learn and don’t make the same mistakes again. Wolves adjusted to what we did against Chelsea. Let’s see it we can adjust again.

We need players that can cross. The lack of crosses we put into the box is worrying. I'm sure Shaw used to put in a good ball. What happened? Now he just passeds to the nearest man instead of whipping it in. Frustrating.
