Something just came to mind. Apologies for mentioning Odgen again..
Interestingly he also said on Sky this morning something to the effect that there was a feeling in the air at Old Trafford at the final whistle that some of the fans ‘were on the edge of a revolt’.
He said there were some boos but it could have got potentially bigger but it didn’t at the time.
He was saying this is towards the owners not Ole.

We’re an absolute shambles. Ole can jog on. He’s as much to fault to these crap results as anyone. If he’s going to carry on with Lingard he deserves to be sacked Didn’t take long did it? Ask yourself this question- do you honestly think Ole is happy with this squad? Forget what he says to the press, that’s just standard bullshit. Do you really think he was happy to let 3 senior players leave and not replace them? Really? Wrong terminology through anger. I don’t think we have any choice to but to keep ole. But he’s the one that keeps picking a player that might as well have us start the game with 10 men. Why has he changed a formation where we won 4-0 ?

Palace tweeted a clip of Zaha taking the piss out of Young.
We're a fucking laughing stock.

Palace tweeted a clip of Zaha taking the piss out of Young. We're a fucking laughing stock. Did you see Andros Townsend's defense of Young on twitter? We have been a laughingstock I'd argue since Moyes was appointed, but it was nice to see Townsend stick up for Young. And again, it's not Young's fault he gets picked. He wrote: 'A 34 y/o (year-old) ex winger vs one of the leagues best wingers.... he gets destroyed twice yet still manages to block the cross.... we should be applauding this not making fun of it #respect'.

**A bit of an overreaction and harsh on Ole but the writer isn't necessarily wrong. www.sportingnews.com/ca/soccer/news/man-utds-1990s-tactics-brutally-exposed-by-palace-more-lessons-from-the-premier-league-weekend/1oos8dkw51l8j1rbxowdcphccb1) Palace reveal the blueprint to take down Solskjaer's Man Utd You could see the problem coming a mile off. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is placing tactical emphasis on speed and directness to emulate the kind of attacking waves that characterised Manchester United when he played under Sir Alex Ferguson in the 1990s, even though the modern game of attack-versus-defence, of possession-versus-counter, is tactically completely different to the first great Fergie era. Crystal Palace inevitably sat in a deep formation to limit the space in behind, which, inevitably, limited Marcus Rashford, Daniel James, and Anthony Martial. This was a game for a craftier playmaker, and yet not only was Juan Mata given just five minutes, but Paul Pogba sat deep alongside Scott McTominay. Pogba should have been freed to play higher up the pitch, rather than attempt to dictate the tempo from in front of Palace's 4-5-1. Overall United simply lacked urgency, failing to realise that a fast start is crucial against Palace's frustration tactics; Jesse Lingard was anonymous, and the Rashford-Martial link just does not work when there is no space in the left half-space - where Rashford had chiefly played against Wolves. Things improved slightly when Rashford was moved into the number 10 role, but not enough, and Palace deserved their win, creating, in the process, a template for the rest of the bottom-half clubs to follow.

Anything that raises Zaha's profile and then price will be good since we have that sell on clause.

7 centre backs at the club, but no decent back up to Shaw at LB and Martial getting a scan to see where he is.
I made that point many times in the transfer thread. Young will be playing at LB for a 1/3 of the season this year at least and we may not have a striker for some time either ! And we'll be playing on Thursdays soon

4 left sided forwards Martial, James, Rashford, Sanchez and a 34 year old ex Left winger at LB
3 years, fans are screaming for a right sided forward or winger
1 Brilliant attacking, creative mid, who has to play too deep and not 1 decent midfielder to play with him and not 1 fit for purpose DM to allow for mistakes or break up play..
