Everton have just beaten West Ham 2-0. At this moment, we’re 13th in the table. lol Honestly, league position is the least of our concerns. Jose finished 2nd and fat lot of good that did. While getting rid of Ed and the Glazers is the pipe dream, gutting and rebuilding the squad is a more attainable goal. Ole publicly showing faith in the players and the board will place responsibility on them for how they have failed to implement his vision, hence the league position. Having said that, I think he could do a better job of communicating the style he wants to play, which would highlight the deficiencies, but hopefully this will come later in the season. It’s not just the league position it’s the absolute dross on the pitch being served up every game. It’s blind faith that we have to hit the depths before the turnaround. Ole was sacked after he was around the relegation zone in the Championship AFTER he had relegated them.

I think having a full compliment of players available will help as well. Even at Wolves we played well and should've got all 3 points but for the missed penalty. All this relegation talk nonsense will be put to bed shortly and I have a feeling we'll pull out a surprise result tomorrow.

The consequence of the absolute dross on the pitch being served up every game is our league position. The cause of the absolute dross is a squad bereft of ability that needs gutting.

So how did we manage to finish second just over 12 months ago ? We beat every single team that season to do it, so it wasn’t luck was it? I suppose all our rivals apart from City had a bad season then ?

That’s the kind of excuses opposition fans used to make when we won trophies under Fergie along with him having the refs in his pocket.

Martial like this please. That pen from Herrera as well, would love him back. The big game player we desperately need in the middle right now.

After today’s results we now officially sit in 14th in the table. So we’ve gone down another place since the last time i posted. lol 14th. But..but we’ve professional football people installed in footballing positions at the club..according to the toad... Going down like the Titanic.

Finishing second was an outlier hence the following regression to the mean.

No that was thinking a bloke whose only PL experience was relegating Cardiff and was a ideal appointment just because he played for us. How are Molde doing since he left ?

When we win tomorrow we'll be 7th. I’m waiting for Manchester City Council to call back but all things being equal the parade should go ahead on Monday evening as planned.
