As I had hoped , Fred got a constant run of games and now he's doing so well for the squad. There's no reason no for Ole to start Matic ever again. The midfield is so mobile with Fred on the pitch..

You’d expect matic to be gone in January if they can get a midfielder in

You’d expect matic to be gone in January if they can get a midfielder in I don't think it's even necessary to wait that long. I would much rather see someone from the reserves than Matic. Fred and Pereira are also there and you'd imagine when Pogba comes back from his injury he'll be there too..

You'd think the same with Lingard (who offers even less) but he manages to get games time somehow. One of the best examples of a footballer punching well above his weight.

Must have seen that free kick now a dozen times this morning and it gets better with each one.

To be fair we've got that pretty spot on in the summer. We're conceding goals but the majority of goals we let in are from our own doing. Been a few goals this season we've gifted to the opposition or we've just switched off. Other than that we're pretty solid at the back. If we can do the same business with our midfield and attack then we should be in a good position next season. Ole seems to have a system that works quite well at the moment so its baby steps but we seem to have turned a corner, and albeit slight one for now. Have noticed since the international break though the Ole out muppets have gone back in their holes. Come to think of it the negative nancys have dissapeared aswell, until we drop points again that is...Funny that.

One of the best if not the best free kick I've seen from any of our own, including Ronaldo. Given the distance and accuracy and the fact he usually can't hit a bulls arse with a spade from a free kick it was incredible.

I've been mildly shocked at some of the criticism I've seen over the last few months relating to Rashford.
He's now on, what, 52 goals for the club at barely 22?
He was on 50 goals for United at 21 - to compare: Rooney was on 44 club goals, Martial on 43, Lukaku on 32 & Ronaldo on 25.
Strikers generally only peak at 26+ so imagine where his stats will be another 4 and a half years from now.
Could realistically break club records, and I'm not even joking.

Will Shaw struggle to get back in ? He should, it's how clubs should operate; you miss games then there's a chance you don't get back in if the player who takes your place performs. If Williams is performing then leave the kid in the team. Let's be realistic, Young will replace Williams at the weekend and then when Shaw is back, he'll replace Young. It shouldn't be like that as Young is dire and Shaw hasn't been much better this season, but I can't see Ole sticking with Williams just yet.

really hope Rashford does go on to break the club record. hes got all the attributes to be a world class player. I can understand players having off days etc and its a shame there is nobody else to take the burden off him when his form does slump a little
only criticism form last night is ole didn't make his subs earlier. they were starting to get on top and it was clear we needed a change. they scored. we made some subs and started to improve again.
Fred is playing his part and McT is playing superb. integral to our season.
thought willams done okay again. much to improve on but good signs from a young full back.
