To be fair we've got that pretty spot on in the summer. We're conceding goals but the majority of goals we let in are from our own doing. Been a few goals this season we've gifted to the opposition or we've just switched off. Other than that we're pretty solid at the back. If we can do the same business with our midfield and attack then we should be in a good position next season. Ole seems to have a system that works quite well at the moment so its baby steps but we seem to have turned a corner, and albeit slight one for now. Have noticed since the international break though the Ole out muppets have gone back in their holes. Come to think of it the negative nancys have dissapeared aswell, until we drop points again that is...Funny that. I never saw Solskjaer as an appointment for the long term and I stand by that. 3 wins in a row doesn’t negate the horrific 2 months last season or the 2 months following it. Let’s see if I’m proved right.😛😛

I'm kinda glad that Pogba is supposedly out until December. We seem to have stumbled upon a formation(s)/lineup/setup that's working pretty well. We are pressing again and playing with some fluidity, and if Pogba comes back in, I feel that may be lost. Ole subs/tactical changes are getting better as well.
If we continue to progress and sign one or two in January, maybe Ole will last another season.

And for all the talk about how much better Lampard has that Chelsea team playing than Ole has us playing. That's 2-0 Ole.
We've got better results against better opposition this season. 2 games with Chelsea, the scouse, Arsenal and even Leicester if you want to throw them in. No doubt he can at least get it right tactically in these games. The problem this season has been putting away these lesser teams, lets just hope that Norwich game was the turning point in that respect too.
Starting to look forward to our games again. Don't let us down vs Bournemouth and keep this run going!

Colchester at home is an excellent draw.
We have a great shot at the semis in this. We also are more or less into the knockouts of the Europa. This is with a squad that was left paper-thin by Woodward so Ole deserves credit. A functioning club, with designs on Silverware and progression would look at this and go As couple of astute signings in January and we can really push on.’ But am I alone in fearing Ed will use a bit of a resurgence as an excuse to say all is great and we only want players that can improve us?
A couple of injuries and we are right back to square 1.

I think Fred played well, but I still want to see more creativity from him. A big step up from where he was before though.

United supporters trying to figure out how we scored a pen, Rashford scored a free kick and how we've managed 3 away wins on the bounce. If we get a goal from a corner next game I might genuinely start to worry that the world is ending. Technically that stat is now over as McTominay’s goal vs. Norwich counts apparently, even though it was a second phase of play from the corner.

I’ll be shocked if we get anyone other than maybe a cheap Mandzukic in Jan, and I’d bet we’ll arbitrarily limit ourselves to 3 players in the summer too.

Also (sorry for so many repeated posts), fuck City for getting a joke draw yet again in a domestic cup. I know we did too, but they’ve had them almost exclusively for about 4 years.
