When are we going to add Martial to this list? He’s got more than a touch of the Anelkas about him. Gets his share of the goals but goes AWOL when it matters. Reluctant to add Martial to that list yet.Because the talent is there(unlike the above 3) , at 23 he may yet develop into the player we all think he can be and unlike mr pogba he seem to love the club atleast. Honestly am not sure any forward can do much with kind of midfield we have right now. That doesnt excuse his shit effort like today but we have done the hard work , should give may be one more season to see if it all works out. Dont want another de bryne like situation with him Martial strikes me as one of those players who might have one or two great seasons in his whole career. Trust me, hes no De Bryne.

Whilst the current owners are here it’s not too much to ask for decent style and goals Go on then, how do you propose to get Fred and Lingard (amongst a good few others) playing better? Just chucking the youngsters in won't help either side. Especially with our fan base and the general scrutiny from outsiders that comes as standard. 5 at the back seemed to be working given the lack of options in midfield. But we ditched that today and lost. Fortunately for me I am not paid a few million a year to sort this mess out or coach the players. Dropping in Fred and Lingard for maximum effect is pointless as they clearly are not good enough to be at the club or start every week.

Ole has now lost more PL games than Klopp despite having managed 104 fewer games. Fucking hell. Klopp’s problem the first few years was too many draws, which they’ve clearly addressed now. I want to believe in Ole and see him succeed but it’s looking clearer it won’t happen.

Ole has now lost more PL games than Klopp despite having managed 104 fewer games. And Klopp's going to win them the League.

You know how in days of yore the scrappy teams with substandard players who ran their legs off and would occasionally beat us, playing like it's a cup final? Well Ole needs to set this bunch of jokers up to play that way. He keeps setting us up as if we're the better team with better players, and we clearly are the scrappy underdogs. His problem is he's not making any tactical changes to counter whenever the other side starts getting on top. Witness what Eddie Howe did today - we were all over them for the first 10 minutes, then he moved his players around and had them continue to press, and we folded like deck chairs. Ole doesn't seem to have the know-how to make a bunch of mediocre players win. He could probably get a tune out of a bunch of Galacticos, but not pub-quality plodders.
Today it wasn't so much individuals sucking but the team as a unit sucking. Pereira and Fred weren't far off from their usual levels but the whole attack and approach were mostly predictable. There were a few moments in the first half where Pereira took hard passes at him and flicked them forward for James to run onto, and then James would get it... but from there we didn't really have any ideas.
We had a couple good chances but didn't put them away. Then we had a bunch of shots sail over the bar. When we're not getting lucky with pot shots or penalties, we lose.

Nothing will change as long as fans don't fight for it. Passiveness will not get this club anywhere.
Also, needs to be pointed out that by change I mean only one - Woodward.

Nothing will change as long as fans don't fight for it. Passiveness will not get this club anywhere. Also, needs to be pointed out that by change I mean only one - Woodward. Exactly There's no point going on about performances of individuals here and there or the coaches lack of experience. These players aren't nearly good enough and we will end up with 2 top 4 finishes in 7 years under Woodward and the worst team since around 1986. He is effectively the worst CEO in the history of top flight Football and there is no other comparison. I know people talk about AC MIlan, but they are a minion in terms of commercial success. That success is not Woodwards, although that's what he hides behind. The narrative is that he is a financial genius and we are thick football supporters. The truth is that brand success is based on decades of work of others, before him and the timing in changes in telecoms, social media, a boom in global advertising and other ways to monetize a huge fan base, which is being done everywhere. The share price has gone nowhere since he took over in a global bull market. The US stock market is up 100% and more in many cases since he took over and our revenues are falling and the brand is being watered down. He has recently released articles to the press, denying the board gets in the way of signings and the manager Ole, Phelan etc have full say in signings. This is just complete nonsense and transfers are only a part of the problem. The lack of any vision and the lack of any proactive longer term strategy is the real problem, along with the pathetic negotiations and overpaying for crap and the pointless etxtensions of lucrative contracts to average players, that should be axed. He reacts to results and throws/wastes money, appointing managers with completely different styles, philosophies, needs for different types of players and changes to managers and coaches! The scouting is poor, but it's an unenvable task, when every 1-2 years they have a completely different mandate and are never sure who is directing recruitment. The appointment of an interim manager, with dubious past experience on a full time basis, three months before the end of a season based on a handful of results or a bump in performance is complete amateur hour stuff. It will take new owners or at least a new CEO and Strong Director of Football Duo to bring us back to challenging for titles or anything at this rate! Mid table and cup run at best this year and more click bait, circus act, adult disneyland transfer windows in the summer during the Euros and Pogba, the only talented creative mid we have fucking off or sounding off. ( Who could blame him)

Leicester City have scored twice as many goals as us with a game in hand and conceded 3 less than us despite us handing them 80 Million for average slab head. Tielemans, cost 32m and is now worth more than our whole midfield aside from Pogba.
Fucking unreal

Ole apparently said he is happy with his squad and wont be rushing into anything when the transfer window opens . Good grief
