Ole apparently said he is happy with his squad and wont be rushing into anything when the transfer window opens . Good grief He knows there’s no other chance of being overpromoted like this so it’s not surprising really. |

'We have a good group of players, but injuries and inevitable suspensions have already shown how light the squad is in terms of numbers. We've been delighted with the effort of the boys we have however it isn't fair to keep asking so much of them without getting them some help.'
What's confidence-destroying about that?

Nothing really. But if you want the manager to say exactly what you think he should almost word for word you're gonna be disappointed.
Most managers defend their squad and loads play the 'we don't need players' when they clearly do card. Look at Poch for just one example. |

If managers said 'we are desperate for bodies' it's just another thing to put prices up. Really not hard to understand. There's sticks to beat Ole with but that isn't one. Before the window shut he said we need 2 more. Internally he probably thinks we need at least 3-4 now. The fact he doesn't broadcast that to the world straight after we lose a game is pretty inconsequential. |

How about saying , look the player we have are giving us everything but everyone can see we are short in certain areas and in respect of the depth of our squad overall. If players become available in january that we feel can help us short and long term then I'm sure I will receive the backing of the board to go and get them. If not we will invest in the summer
Far better than I'm happy with my current squad blah blah blah I'm a patsy pay me my money and I will dance to your tune blah blah

This is the man who said alot of these players won't be here next year and we will be successful with or with out them, he must of been told he would be backed heavily in the market for him to come out with that, well he hasn't the board have failed him once again, now it's time to put some pressure on them to spend not saying shite like he's happy with what we have when we currently sit 10th in the league. |
