I said we wouldn’t get Sancho last season and as soon as the prices were quoted I thought there’s no chance this one. We’re maxed up to the hilt with debt and the chickens have roosted. Also you re: anyone liked with us... Go and find me some evidence of that. On Sancho I insisted last season on numerous occasions that it wouldn’t happen despite much mockery. As I did for suggesting Pereria wasn’t good enough. For suggesting top 4 is the end game for the Glazers every season. That Solskjaer wasn’t good enough. I laughed at the links to Longstaff, McGinn and Grealish despite many on here having no issue with these kinds of players. I’d say I’ve got a fair bit right too. I’d also trade in Rashford if the price is right. I don’t rate him as much as everyone on here does even before his back injury.

Even if selling Rashford wasn’t a batshit crazy idea (and it is, truly) why would you trade him when you know trading for the Glazers means selling and not replacing? You’d basically sell Rashford and what, watch Dan James run around a lot?

Correct my if l’m wrong-maths NEVER being my strongest subject at school- But subtract 90,000,000 from 108,000,000 and you arrive at a figure of -18,000,000, which, in any sense of the imagination is rather a large negative number. I would therefore strongly suspect that Herr Zorn-who sounds as though he should be an enemy of Superman-will tell Mr Woodward, in the politest possible way, to FUCK OFF! with this latest attempt to bend BvB over. I really fancy going to Stratstone Porsche garage outside Wilmslow tomorrow and lowballing for a Cayman GT4 , citing Ed as a precedent. I’ll keep you posted 😂 I'm sorry to do this because I completely understand and agree with your point but 108,000,000 minus 90,000,000 equals positive 18,000,000.

Zlatan has covid. I think you will find covid has been infected with Zlatan who will single handedly beat the virus and save us all* * Except Ed and the Glazer family.

This is interesting from Jamie Jackson. Up to now all the stuff was hopeful it would happen etc but this puts it firmly in the very unlikely bracket Jackson is no Woodward stooge either.
‘Sancho at about 80-20 against happening is an assessment; @manutd still believe deal can be done but difficult...‘
Absolute time wasters. Beggars belief how bad these guys are.

This week has been a total waste. No movement on anything. It could easily have been used to sign up Sancho and Telles, even given the state we were in on Sunday.

www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8771751/Ole-Gunnar-Solskjaer-insists-Man-Uniteds-line-strong-enough.htmlOle Gunnar Solskjaer insists his Manchester United defence is good enough to cope this season without reinforcements. The Manchester United manager is under pressure to bolster his squad after losing the first Premier League game of the season at home to Crystal Palace. So far United have added only Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek but questions have been asked recently about the central defensive partnership of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof Solskjaer said ahead of Saturday's visit to Brighton: 'Last season proved to us how we can defend at our best. 'Yes, last week was not fantastic. We conceded sloppy goals. 'But our defensive record last season showed with Eric and Harry how good a partnership they can be [we can do it]. We defended very well as a team. 'Eric [Bailly] is fit again which is a big bonus. I am looking forward to him developing. We have been waiting for him to be fit and to play more regularly. 'I am very confident in my players. We are working on getting better.' United have a big squad by Premier League standards with a number of players seemingly having little chance of starting games this season. Asked if this could be a problem, Solskjaer said: 'It is not my job to keep them happy. 'My job is to pick players to get results. It is up to them to be fit and work hard and be ready when called upon.' But Solskjaer wouldn't be drawn on whether United plan to make any more new signings to bolster his squad ahead of the transfer deadline on October 5 as fans grow more anxious about the lack of new additions. 'As I've said many times I'm very confident in my players,' he said. 'If and when something happens, both ins and outs, we'll update you. In football you can't predict too much. 'For me, I'm just working on getting better. My focus is solely on the game, I can't be thinking any other way. We need points and then we can talk again.' Solskjaer has tried to establish a consistent central defensive partnership between captain Maguire and Lindelof. However, Lindelof conceded a penalty in the 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace last weekend and Solskjaer's positive comments about Bailly could suggest the Ivorian will replace Lindelof in the side. It comes as Chris Smalling makes a plea to leave United before the deadline following a successful loan spell with Roma last season. Other options include Phil Jones, who was used sparingly last season, Marcos Rojo, who went out on loan to Estudiantes in Argentina, and the inexperienced but highly promising Axel Tuanzebe. United make a quick return to Brighton next week in the Carabao Cup with the exact date for the fourth round tie yet to be confirmed.
