Watford supposedly wanted a guaranteed 25 million loan fee for sarr so whether we bought him or not they got money in. If true, very bizarre My boss is a Watford fan and he knows someone who knows a lot of inside info. He told him that United wanted to pay £45m. Watford said yes. United only wanted to pay £3m this year and spread the rest out over 5 years. They said no chance. I also told him what you have typed as I heard the same. Who knows.

Sources: United missed all of Solskjaer's targets Manchester United failed to sign any of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's priority targets during the summer transfer window, sources have told ESPN. ... Did he seriously think he was getting Sancho , Grealish and Upamecano in one summer? Looks like he’s badly misjudged our great owners then ? 🤣🤣 Haaland didn’t want to come despite arguments suggesting otherwise. Clearly made the right choice. They’d probably look like league 1 standard by the time they’d been here for a few months anyway.

According to the Athletic, Joel Glazer directly blocked Ed from making an improved bid on Sancho. Neil has been calling in favours all over the place.

Romano. This is why Utd are finished.
‘Jadon Sancho was 'one step away' from joining #mufc at the end of July/start of August, but United changed the payment structure of the deal. United were convinced that Dortmund would accept a different deal before the deadline’

Unfortunately Dortmund weren’t having it. That’s my interpretation. A bit like a Christmas club.

United were convinced that Dortmund would accept a different deal before the deadline’ to do this at any level of business is underhanded/amateurish, to be doing that at a football club with the pull of ours....... we will never be taken seriously with these clowns in charge. if they thought negotiations were difficult before this window, they will be impossible now. every club should be pulling these lots' pants down when they call. it's the natural order of things, the strong exploit the weak and the executives currently at MUFC are as weak as they come.

That’s us fucked buying anyone from a 2nf tier European side, let alone the big boys.

Let’s find out ourselves if they’re good enough, but give them as good a chance of success as possible.

Not chucked in to fill the gaps.
