This win would be a real statement from us and we could at last start to show a level of consistency.

It's been against the pish below us. Given our run in though we need a good run of results over the next 2 weeks. That's when the consistency needs to start.

Nice to see only one match thread with everyone on board for a Bertie beatdown this time around! 3-4-1-2 with hopefully Maguire fit to play. Bailly to play as well with Shaw as a LCB. Williams and AWB as our wing backs and then a midfield of McT/Matic and Fred. Bruno, Martial and Greenwood!

True over the last few years we've been looking at "not getting battered" as some sort of victory I know were not on their level yet but i am confident we can go toe to toe at with them and give them somthing to worry about fo a change. If we had a bit more quality upfront I'd be disappointed with a draw.

The Everton draw makes points a bit more necessary here. Come on lads.

They’ve got the tougher midweek fixture so hopefully that gets into Pep’s head a bit.
EDIT: Just checked out the league table. If Spurs win later we’ll be 8th. We can not afford to lose this.

If the team have their purposeful “FUCK ‘EM” game face on, we’ll beat them. BTW, Wonder when Mr Fury is is doing his inspirational address? Rather have Keane do it tomorrow, he’ll surely be doing his pundit thing for Sky so why not?. When the teams are in the tunnel before the game, just watch if any of our players are looking/conversing with the Citeh players. If they’re all looking (assertively) ahead, then it’s probably safe to assume that Roy’s had a little chat with them!

Definitely think we have to win this to stay in a genuine hunt for top four, we can’t be totally sure 5th will guarantee CL qualification - but we’re even outside of that currently.
Must win really.

Almost 4/1 to win here, seems very big.

Almost 4/1 to win here, seems very big. This has become the Chelsea fixture from the 90s. Brilliant away from home, terrible at OT.

This and the Spurs game could ruin our top 4 chances. We're seventh right now, three points behind fourth (Chelsea also play today), but just three points ahead of Crystal Palace in eleventh. That's just absolutely mad.

James has burnt out but he was outstanding in the league game earlier so I’d play him. You need as much pace as possible on the field to try to hit them on the counter.
