I’m surprised by people saying the opposition is dross but...for absolutely ages we’ve had a very good record against the big teams and have struggled against the Burnley’s, West Ham’s and the like. The fact we are battering these sides now is the most encouraging aspect of all this. The big games tend to look after themselves, the run of the mill stuff is what separates the best. This time last season these games cost us the top 4. Fast forward 12 months and the improvements are massive against the smaller sides. No game is easy but its the games we dropped points in that we have improved the most in now. |

Extrapolate that over a full season and he’s PFA player of the year. He was the same in Portugal for 2 seasons, why the hell we didn’t get him at least 12 months ago is totally beyond me! David Silva-esque in his prime-loved him, even in that shitcunt shirt that he wore. I now need to gargle in 100% bleach or caustic soda for an hour at least. Please feel free to insult me to the max!
