Bruno Fernandes has been directly involved in 13 goals in his first 10 Premier League games for Manchester United (seven goals, six assists); the joint-most of any player in their first 10 appearances in the competition, along with
wait for it
Mick Quinn (13)!!!

Look we are not a title winning team yet, but a result like that is a title winning performance, just hope those cunts back the squad and spend some money If we get 4th that’s enough for them. whats the point of spending £150 million when 4th is enough to keep the sponsors happy and that cash could then be used to upgrade shopping centres in Florida

How shite was Grealish for Pogba's goal too? Someone's about to shoot so I'll just turn my body away from the ball?? Put yourself on the line and block it you clown. Reminded me of someone (don't know who) for Palace a couple of seasons ago for Matic's 90th minute winner, done the same thing. I get you mightn't want to get a deflection on it as that might make it worse, but fuck me you make yourself big and block the shot, turning away is horrific. And surely he could have intercepted the ball from Fernandes to Pogba as well? another totally overrated poster boy And there’s reports that we want to spunk 80 million on him ffs. He will be playing at his level next season.

Good interview with Ole. Told about that 4 wins by 3+ goals stat, just said "Most of those games we should have won by 5."

Assuming we win against Southampton and Palace, I'll be fascinated to see what Ole does vs. Chelsea.
On the one hand we are playing excellent stuff with the current style that looks to dominate the game more than we did before. On the other we've had three good wins against Chelsea this season letting them have the ball and then countering, and they'll be the first side we've played since the restart (barring any surprises in the next two) that really wants to come at us and is good enough to do it.
Edit: My instinct is to go back to the style that served us so well vs. Chelsea before, probably sacrificing Pogba and Matic for Fred and McTominay in the process. But it's a very tough call and I may well change my mind in the 10 days before the game. TBH we should be beating them whichever way we play based on our form.

Just funny that, after another decent win, that that is your first reaction. and Karma "likes" it. The same Karma that finds winning matchday threads as deadly as sunlight to a vampire normally. Bit odd really. But then that's just me. Not like my hunches have been right in the past. Perhaps the decent football has fucked my BS radar.

Looks like we can finally go toe to toe with the best sides again the way we are playing, but sitting off and countering has given us such a good record against the top few sides, so do we change what has for the most part been a winning formula and risk going for the throat, or stick to what has worked well previously?

Spanish Dave has now surpassed Big Pete’s appearance record for the club with this game -
De Gea 399 apps, Schmeichel 398 apps.

That was Mourinho's masterclass in his first spell with Chelsea. Kill the big games and grind out wins but destroy everyone else. Fergie started doing that a bit as well away at Anfield and against Arsenal. Chelsea in the later years. It wins titles.
