He is probably the most positive thinking player at the club in terms of looking to pass forward quickly, after Pogba had slid in & won the tackle on the edge of our box had that ball fallen to any other player, there would have been a touch & look up before a pass, some would then gone side ways to a fullback, without looking he knew where Rashford was & the ball went forward quickly to him.
Had Bruno made that pass everyone would be rightly singing his praises.
Out of 6 or 7 midfield players he is the one player obviously not being rotated.
So yes,he contributed significantly to our team performance & result, his reward will be more time sat in stands & manager paying lip service to how important he is etc etc
The treatment he has had is beyond poor from the manager & obviously not what he would have been told prior to signing for the club or he would have probably gone elsewhere.

I'm beginning to think done people don't understand the concept of rotating players. Van de Beek did exactly what he was supposed to yesterday - give Fernandes a 65 minutes break and not degrade the quality of the team. It's also laughably disingenuous to talk about all these 'players in form' when up to a few weeks ago Bruno was the only one turning up in any sort of an attacking sense. Pogba wanted out and was playing like it until just a couple of weeks ago. The gaslighting going on that suggests people are annoyed that van de Beek doesn't start because he's a world beater is nonsense. Plenty of us are, quite justifiably, pissed off at what looks like really shoddy treatment - three minute cameos FFS - and a baffling waste of a big signing. I completely agree & although the lads is desperate for regular football, not sure chucking him in yesterday was great man management, having said that he showed exactly what he is about with his contribution in the first goal, despite it being missed by some that obviously just look at football rather actually take in how players contribute to an overall team performance. Utter nonsense and virtually zero evidence to support that claim. How the fuck can you be sure about something like that despite complaining about his game time, which means you haven't had a proper look at him?

Obviously isn't that sure considering KSH stated van de Beek is "probably" the most positive forward thinking player (I'm presuming after Bruno). Could be that from the few times he has seen vbB play for us, or the 150-odd games for Ajax, KSH has seen him look to play more positively than anyone else.

Maybe KSH can clarify and clear things up.

Anyone that has actually watched DVB play for Ajax,Holland one of the things he consistently does,is look to pass the ball forward with purpose, often quick one touch stuff.

Happy to have a squad where people are having to put in 9/10 performances to get in the team but if that be the case, AWB and lindelof need to up the game to levels I believe they are clearly capable of. So far so good, long may our strong run continue. I also hope we get the right players in to compliment and push this team unto greatness

Guido Albers (agent) about Donny van de Beek's desired loan move:
“Today I have been trying to find a club for Donny. Everyone knows the situation. We worked very hard for it, but Man Utd are blocking everything. There was much interest from Italy, Germany & England."
Yet the manager won't give him a chance.

Little playing time for any of the transfers from last summer yet I keep being told the Glazers have let him down.

First time in a while I'm sympathetic to an agent 🤮🤮 He's just fucking with the lad's career now. Bizarre and enraging. Either play him or cut him loose. Wanker.

Why the heck did we sign him if we don’t even play him? I feel sorry for VDB, he was one of the most intriguing players in that Ajax team and we totally fucked his career.
