To clarify, I was referring to how disappointed I'll be that it didn't work out. You'd think managers like Klopp and Pep would absolutely love to work with a player like Donny, at such a young age with time to develop. Ugh. Strong worry he will end up at city eventually.

Shades of Kagawa in how disappointed I'll be when he leaves, what an utter tragedy. At least Kagawa was given a fair go,DVB is strangest transfer we done, even Dong had more of an chance & at least we all knew why he had been signed. DVB world class player, not given a sniff. Sooner Ole goes the better. Nowhere near a world class player. I’ll say this, I think he obviously has a lot of potential and will probably have a good career after he’s left United. Could probably make an instant impact in Germany. But he’s never shown anything that suggests he’s a good player in his appearances for United, cameo or otherwise. He’s never had a run though and based on how much we struggle in midfield, it’s criminal really that he’s never had a proper go. Because in saying he’s not shown anything, neither has anyone else in there really.

Judging him on sparser than sporadic appearances under our hopeless fraud of a top level manager doesn't make sense.

Genuinely I don't think that the board should get involved with pitch matters but surely someone needs to have a word with Ole on Donny, it's embarrassing. Whether you want him or not he is likely the most intelligent central midfielder we have due to that Dutch coaching he grew up with. He is desperate to play so if given a run he will likely offer better balance in the middle with MCT.
Good at passing, reads the game well, has the ability to change the tempo, i means those are qualities that we need in there. Pogba is messing around with the contract so bench him! Matic is 40! Fred and MCT are not a great combination.

I think there will have not been many that were not genuinely excited by his signing,Zidane wanted him & the only reason we got him was they could not afford him.
OGS is going to do the same to Sancho.

Not giving him time would be more understandable if we had a brilliant midfield. We don’t, so he should have been played more. Which will obviously have destroyed his form and confidence. Was merely saying he’s not been good when he has featured. Not even a flash of anything.

All these midfield injuries we have but we all know who won't even get a sniff of a game.

What has happened to Donny is wrong. He should play. But calling him world class is a bit much. I don't care what award he was nominated for.

Donny like Pogba needs to play in a 4-3-3. You'd hope Conte would install that when he takes over.
