Actions speak louder than words and only giving Donny four Premier League starts says an awful lot.
Also Donny seems to think that Ole is logical and capable of making smart decisions. This is the manager who convinced Lingard to stay to play backup for undroppable Bruno rather than cash in and put the £20m towards a DM.
Ole came out with this whole excuse about how it takes some players time to adapt to the Premier League with Fred (yes Fred!) as a good example of how after a difficult start players can evolve. Well surely the best way for Donny to adapt to the Premier League would be to enjoy a season out on loan with Everton. He'd get regular games and then if Pogba leaves on a free next summer assuming Donny impressed at Everton we wouldn't need to buy a direct replacement for Pogba and could instead spend big on a DM.
Instead Donny will rot on the bench all season and we will then spend big on a Pogba replacement and maybe also buy a backup striker and then be in the same situation of needing to raise funds if we want a DM.

Just been reading an article which claims that Ole's coaching staff still don't think Donny is up to the physicality of the premier league and isn't suited
This simply doesn't stack up when you consider Fred!! who they must think then, is physically suited to the prem.......HELLO, McFly......

Not sure why they didn't allow him to go elsewhere for 6 months and get regular gametime to really see if their thoughts are reality.

If Donny has any sense and wants to save his career he should kick the door in and demand a transfer.

He’s never going to displace Bruno and we don’t play a midfield three, so where does he play?

He’s never going to displace Bruno and we don’t play a midfield three, so where does he play? In the pivot next to Mctominay. Appreciate Pogba is the better player but unless we get someone that is better suited to playing with Pogba and more importantly he signs a new deal, I think you give Donny a run of like 5/6 games and if he can't take the chance fair enough.

I do think he was signed with the thought of Pogba going. I think that is why he is still here, an in-situ replacement should he not re-sign. It is unfair on him, but until the situation with Pogba is sorted he is knackered.

UtdDistrict @utddistrict Solskjær: "He [Donny] is still trying hard, but it's hard for him. I understand that. He is disappointed and frustrated, but he works hard every day and does it with a big smile." UtdDistrict @utddistrict Solskjær [on lack of gametime for Van de Beek]: "When you see our team, you know we have good players. I hope for Donny that he gets his chances and then takes them. Now I didn't need him, but I know I can always count on him."
Totally fucking up this lads career!
