To be fair, Pogba has been outstanding since his fat agent shot his mouth off. If he’s gonna play like this every week, pay him what he wants. Can we cut out this name calling every time Ole doesn’t pick Bailly. He was awful tonight and almost cost us the match. VdB isn’t the first player RoM has anointed the second coming if only the *insert pejorative here* manager wasn’t an *insert other pejorative here.* Tosic, Ljajic, Januzaj spring to mind. Perhaps the manager does actually know know more than us. Just a thought. Also, just so I’m clear, a club legend has come back to manage us when we were complete trash, has us top of the league, which hasn’t been done since Fergie, and there are people on this board who habitually call him every name in the book and want him sacked. Furthermore, they hope he wins the league so he can leave. That is what I just read, right? Are you really comparing a player who's played and performed at the highest level and cost £35m+, to three largely unknown players who cost less than £10m combined? I’m not comparing players or transfer fees. I’m comparing the way RoM overhypes a player when he’s not playing and then spews all manner of vitriol at the manager whenever he doesn’t start/play enough. We’ve got plenty of previous and still haven’t learned.

Fairly certain Ole could just admit he's shit scared of resting Bruno and some people would still contort themselves into pretzels trying to justify him. Is that the shape people are making while looking for ways to castigate a manager who’s the top of the league?

Martial has been so bad recently I feel like I owe Perisic an apology.

MEN are the only press outlet I’ve seen bring Atkinson to task for the Fred penalty. Absolutely shocking not to even refer it to VAR.

I don't even think it's that anyone has 'anointed' van der Beek as anything. It is exactly your point about why spend that money to sign a young, clearly talented player and then not even give him chances to impress. It's farcical. Jose user to get peters for the treatment of certain players this is no different There was a full scale riot at the mere notion of Jose saying Martial isn't worth it.

Or being a legendary player puts him above that?

City got a penalty from a handball which was very similar to Villa`s appeal for one, the refereeing is diabolical at the moment.

Is that the shape people are making while looking for ways to castigate a manager who’s the top of the league? Last I checked its still okay to question a manager who has won nothing with us yet? Or being a legendary player puts him above that? Question all you want, nobody is above that. I’m taking umbrage with the name calling, vitriol and chronic negativity being spewed at him for every little thing. Here’s the reality; had RAWK scraped their dole money together and bought us with the sole intention of running us into the ground, they couldn’t have done a better job than Ed/Glazers. Moyes, LvG and Mourinho left a cluster for Ole to fix, and now we’re top of the bloody league in January which hasn’t been done since Fergie. An actual United legend has us in our first title challenge in 7 years (something we always said was the bare minimum for any of the previous managers) and I log into a United forum to find people calling him the worst profanities they can muster, and wanting him to be sacked. Of all places, I’d have thought this would be the one where people would be excited about the prospect of a legend leading us back to the promised land when the mere idea of that seemed impossible until now. Nothing would be more United, more ‘us against the world’, more two fingers to the press and punditocracy, more romantically beautiful than Ole leading us back from the dead and beating Liverpool and City to the league, and I’m the one having to justify my belief in the manager and excitement at the prospect of pulling this off on a United forum. I genuinely don’t understand it.

I genuinely don’t understand it. Couldnt agree more ! Have been reading (not posting much) here for years as it used to ve a good insight into a lot of things going on at the club, quick updates on transfers and some good views on the football being played. In my opinion it has gone downhill the last few years. Now its just negativity. So much criticism of players, managers etc. Even in wins some cant seem to avoid searching for every negative they can spot and make that the headline. We're top of the league. I agree, Bruno needs a rest, Ole could make some more changes, but how bad are things really now compared to Van Gaals boring football? Or Moyes? Cheer up

I genuinely don’t understand it. Totally agree. Can you think of a single manager that has had the negative shit Ole has when they were top of the table? Struggling to think of one. No matter what there's always an excuse. Only reason we're top is because of other teams being poor aswell, thats another belter, anything to not give the guy any bit of the credit he deserves. As I said last night far too many reactionary fans within this fanbase at the moment. I get why they'd have concerns with a manager thats not won a lot but there's no need for the constant negativity or abuse. Its pathetic. If at the end of the season we fuck it all up then maybe he's not the guy but until then we're top of the league for the first time in 7 years and we deserve to be there, lets just fucking enjoy it.
