Question all you want, nobody is above that. I’m taking umbrage with the name calling, vitriol and chronic negativity being spewed at him for every little thing. Here’s the reality; had RAWK scraped their dole money together and bought us with the sole intention of running us into the ground, they couldn’t have done a better job than Ed/Glazers. Moyes, LvG and Mourinho left a cluster for Ole to fix, and now we’re top of the bloody league in January which hasn’t been done since Fergie. An actual United legend has us in our first title challenge in 7 years (something we always said was the bare minimum for any of the previous managers) and I log into a United forum to find people calling him the worst profanities they can muster, and wanting him to be sacked. Of all places, I’d have thought this would be the one where people would be excited about the prospect of a legend leading us back to the promised land when the mere idea of that seemed impossible until now. Nothing would be more United, more ‘us against the world’, more two fingers to the press and punditocracy, more romantically beautiful than Ole leading us back from the dead and beating Liverpool and City to the league, and I’m the one having to justify my belief in the manager and excitement at the prospect of pulling this off on a United forum. I genuinely don’t understand it. Couldnt agree more ! Have been reading (not posting much) here for years as it used to ve a good insight into a lot of things going on at the club, quick updates on transfers and some good views on the football being played. In my opinion it has gone downhill the last few years. Now its just negativity. So much criticism of players, managers etc. Even in wins some cant seem to avoid searching for every negative they can spot and make that the headline. We're top of the league. I agree, Bruno needs a rest, Ole could make some more changes, but how bad are things really now compared to Van Gaals boring football? Or Moyes? Cheer up Thanks for that.

I agree some of the comments go over the top, though most of them are during matches. Football is a passionate sport, and in the heat of things people say (or type) stuff that can be over the top and probably not something they'd say at other times. I know I'm absolutely guilty of that, and once calmed down try to be more rational and/or respectful.
But both sides are twisting things to suit their own agendas. Paul, you say the "Only top because others are poor" argument is a belter? If Liverpool were top on 40 points, and if they won the league with 80 points (current points per game tally), you more than literally any other poster would be on here daily talking about how shit they are, they're only top because other teams have dropped their level, they're so lucky and deluded, etc etc etc. Please don't try and say you wouldn't, everyone knows (and loves) your hatred of all things Liverpool, you would be slaughtering them for it. The fact it's United doesn't make things magically different.
Ole has done a lot of things right, and generally gets credited for it. He is also doing a lot of things wrong as well though. His subs are generally shockingly bad, time, time and time again. He is running players into the ground by refusing to give them a rest, Fergie was a master at knowing when to let players sit games out and recharge, Ole seems to think playing 60-70 games a season is fine and dandy (once you figure in internationals as well). It took him how long to figure out Lindelof might not be the answer at the back? The "style" of play is very much "give it to Bruno and hopefully he does something". If that's not working we look lost.
Just because this is a United forum doesn't mean we should all be like 12 year Take That fans (that's still who the kids like, yes?) wetting our knickers, screaming about being top. There's a lot to still be critical of and I personally like that most of the posters on here can be two sided, see that yes being top is great and all but shit ain't perfect and there's a lot more to do, on and off the pitch.
I'm enjoying the ride, I really am. But I'm not getting carried away with Ole and not going to pretend everything is perfect when it clearly isn't.

My point is how many managers get the negative shit and abuse from THEIR OWN fans, not from rival fans, rival fans will always have a negative view on other clubs. I'm only interested in our own fanbase and our own club. I cant ever recall a club at the top of the league where their fans have been with their manager like ours have been with Ole. My hatred for those cunts will always cause be to be negative towards them. Logic goes out the window there I'm afraid.

Whether you're Ole in or out, think we'll win the league or be scrapping for fourth, there's one thing we can all agree on... ...the scousers losing at home to Burnley is fantastic!

Martial has been so bad recently I feel like I owe Perisic an apology. I was one who thought Martial had a higher ceiling than Rashford, based on the way he would go on those mazy runs beating defenders left and right and scoring from nowhere. I've now come to the realisation that Rashford has a better chance of breaking through his ceiling than Martial has of hitting his. I honestly wouldn't mind him going to Paris or Bayern etc and becoming a world beater there cause I don't think that's going to happen with us.

Cheer up Van Gaal and Mourinho won trophies and were shat on consistently. What has ole won to stop us from giving him the same treatment? The top of the league by January cup?
