On Donny, I’ve not been impressed with him in any of the games he’s featured in this season. Having said that, he’s not had a run of games to get himself into form and his confidence will be suffering.
Hopefully we can use the Europa to get him up to speed and properly integrated. Still feel like he could be a big player for us in Europe this season, it’s less of an adjustment for him than playing in the league.

He (Donny) doesn't get involved in the game enough. He's clearly an intelligent player, always on the go and good at finding space but if you're not getting the ball, as that type of player, you've got to go and find it and force your way into the match. Other than that the game just passes you by.
Sure he'll become a good player for us and has to be getting starts in the Europa but up to him to take advantage of the game time he does get.

I think Ole will prove that he's more limited than most people think if he plays Bruno in any of the Europa games before the semi-finals.Common sense at this point in the season would dictate that you save your best player for the league games and QF/semis of a cup. This is where not starting Donny in the Europa games/ FA cup wouldn't be justifiable. He just has to start games if not for his sake but for Bruno's sake. Having said that Donny will have to find a way to make his mark when given the chance. |
