Not really all of this season of course. Because it hasn't finished yet and as we know, you cannot judge things that are unfinished. Like managerial careers. I am suggesting that so far this season, Ole has out managed Carlo, Klopp, Jose, Nuno and every other flavour of the month being suggested as our saviour in waiting. Hence why my original post started with the phrase “so far this season...” Do try and keep up, lad. Is what I say ... By your rationale we can't really compare anything, ever, because there will always be some arbitrary cut-off that means it doesn't count.

I think the question to ask is this: what would Ancelotti get out of this squad in comparison to what Ole would get out of Everton. Carlo is navigating the blue scouse to a top 4 challenge, I’m not sure Ole would come even close. Carlo in retrospect would probably have us more defensively organized and drilled whilst still scoring goals.
I’m not a firm Ole outer btw, just have to call a spade a spade on this one.

I know mate but the big spanish clubs, especially Barca, dont have two pennies to rub together. Madrid are expected to lose almost 300m this season. How do you make that up with FFP? Probably by selling the Bernabeu to the Spanish government for one Euro more than the debt. Then buying it back for one Euro. Ah yes that looking accounting trick

All of that is hypothetical scenarios , what if Ole is managing Everton , what if Bruno is shit , what if pep is managing westbrom ,what if the idiots in our squad had closed out the game after leading at 94 mins. Ole is managing United and his team scored more goals and points than Carlo's Everton this season. I am frustrated as everyone else , but for me at least we can look at this squad and say - hey get in a CB and a RW and that is a pretty good starting lineup. Not sure i could say that with Jose or LVG. Almost like Liverpool under klopp Even if Ole made a mistake with Maguire , considering so many other things are falling in place back him in the market and get in required players , like a big club does. Did city ask pep to make do with John stones because he bought him.

Can't believe some of the posts in here comparing proven PL title winners(Jose, Klopp,Ancelotti) to Ole using probably the weakest season in recent memory as a base. Also are they forgetting our stellar Injury record this season? ? I don't remember us having to go through a period without our best players like most of the Rival managers Ole has "out Managed". Other teams have literally had to be shit for us to be anywhere near as good as our position on the table makes us look And even then we couldn't capitalise on it.

This isn't the weakest season in recent memory, but the weirdest and perhaps the toughest in some respects. We didn't even start it on a level playing field, having a lunch break for a pre-season and then having to play every three days.
Ole has been better than Jose in the transfer market (both ins and outs), his United plays better football, the squad building process (albeit slower than we 'd have liked) is more promising and he is having us second in the league right now, an achievement Jose famously described as one of his biggest in his managerial career.
You are welcome to search the board for title talk in February. It's absolute madness that this counts for very little considering where we are at the moment compared to those 6-7 years we have had to root for City this time of the year.

That right there is why I support Ole , It has nothing to do with him being an ex player.

1. We haven't finished second yet. 2. Mourinho actually finished second, with a worse squad and a better League. 3. Redcafe - Google it and sign up there. You'll fit right in.

That right there is why I support Ole , It has nothing to do with him being an ex player. Maguire Shit AWB Jury still out James Shit Ighalo Shit Cavani V Good Bruno V Good Telles Never plays Donny Never plays So far that’s 2 IMO Our best 2 are both foreign players , both panic buys . Both could have been signed much earlier . The club actively distanced itself from Bruno the summer before he arrived. He was basically Moyes’s Mata when we were in the shit and the Glazers had to do something. Cavani was a last minute signing who was a punt.
