Fred, McTominay and Matic as our 3 midfielders in the squad is just terrible really. Its amazing we are 2nd with them 3.I actually like McTominay as well, but Ole doesn't use him right. He's not a defensive midfielder. He's a box to box type as we saw in the Leeds game. No matter where his best position is though, he isn't a stater. Neither is Fred and neither is Matic. We need a much better DM and only play one of them. We really do miss Pogba. This x 100000. All I keep hearing is praise for Fred and McTominay and how important they are, yet in stark reality, neither is close to the world-class level we need for a holding midfielder. I do actually like McTominay though, I think he's really improving his game and has some great assets, but like in other positions, he should be playing behind (as in on the bench) or alongside a world-class player(s), yet instead he's probably our best option, which is quite frankly laughable for a team who's meant to be challenging for the title.

In general our performances depend on how the opposition set up. We still struggle against teams who operate a low block. We are poor in possession and are not comfortable with the ball. There’s only so many times you can complain about not having the right players. We still rely on individuals to do something because we look like a poorly coached team after more than 2 years.

For those that did watch yesterday how did diallo look pls I'll be honest the kid has a way to go. His goal was sumptuous but he's got to learn a lot more about taking his man on and to be ready for the through ball. He was static quite a few times but that's just due to inexperience. He'll be sensational soon.

I can see a very similar game, performance and result coming on Sunday night. The FA cup game against West Ham was drab as well.

If they think that they are bigger cunts than we know.

There were what appeared to be some Ed briefs a few months ago stating we would be focusing our attention on a striker now that we signed Diallo. So it is probably what the cunts running our club are thinking.

Comparing a lad who's played less than 100 mins of actual professional football to Sancho who at this point is a seasoned pro at a high level.

The wonder was whether he was quite ready yet. His goal showed a mature inventiveness

I don't think anyone is saying he doesn't deserve the chance,OGS said so himself that he is going to be given every chance to make the right side his own. I hope he turns out to be a world better, but he should not be used as an excuse to save money on proven talent that the team needs now. I'd love to see Sancho play for us amongst others.

There is room for both Diallo and Sancho in our squad. Picking three from Rashford, Greenwood, Sancho, Diallo and whichever one of Cavani/Martial stays is the basis for a title-winning attack.
