Also, for all of the talk of us being favourites for the Europa, the Slavia side that are 6th favourites or so managed to knock out the Leicester side that walked over us today. Not as easy as it looks. Yep, we're not a shoe in to win the europa at all, said that after the Milan game

What an inspiration. Captain. Leader. Mong. Also, Tatty no longer at the wheel 😭 This was a poor choice of words. If I have offended you, I am very sorry. I’ll do better going forward. Please DM me if I’ve upset you, as this was not intended.

Aye I've just brought this up myself. It makes zero sense. Ole has both the DNA and culture of the club running deeply within him. Shame he has absolutely no fucking clue on how to manage our team. pity the Jeremy Kyle show isn’t still running because he needs a DNA test

Imagine how much better we would be if we had Ndidi and Tielemans as part of our midfield. Fred, Matic and McTominay are our biggest issues. 2 of them play pretty much every game.
It's basically 2 players doing one good DM's job. Ndidi, Bruno, Pogba, Donny. What a super midfield.

Maybe I just like average players in bad teams, so they look better but, there absolutely a player in Bissouma at half the price of an Ndidi.

We've got average players in that role now, so it wouldn't hurt. He's been well thought of this season. As long as he can do it on his own.

You can't account for individual mistakes, and Leicester's first (Fred's mistake) in particular was probably the worst we have seen this season. Diabolical, unforgiveable. But Ole showed very clearly he doesn't care about the FA Cup with his comments in the week and then his team selection here. Why did he rest our two best players in the last game before an international break - a game which was a brilliant opportunity to get to a cup semi, and now because of the kind draw, would have been a huge chance to get to the final? If anyone missed his comments about trophies and how lowly he values them: "Any cup can give you a trophy but sometimes it’s more of an ego thing from other managers and clubs to finally win something. It’s not like a trophy will say that we’re back, no. It’s the gradual progression of being in and around the top of the league.” He'd rather finish second in the league (still probably 20 points off the winners) after finishing third last year, rather than finish third/fourth with a proper trophy or two as well. His words and his team selection back that up. It's left an incredibly sour taste in my mouth. He is the norway Poch as I said elsewhere Poch played this card at spurs not so long ago.

It’s also hilarious that Ole’s subs were basically to undo all the changes he’d made to the XI in the first place. These subs didn't arrest the slide when they came on. Some players are not cut out to be super subs. With that said he should have started most of them. Think at 0-0 with the strongest squad on I think the outcome of this game would have been diffrent.

Unforgivable performance. An embarrassment to our history in this competition that we have won 12 times and should be more. I'm not even angry. Just very, very disappointed. Its piss poor that United has only won the FA cup twice since 1999. I think some would argue that United has been somewhat jinxed after that fiasco in 1999-2000 When they were forced out of the FA cup in order to help that England bid for World cup 2006. I'm not going to say United are jinxed in the FA cup becasue of what happened in 1999-2000. So I'm going to argue many of United cup exist in past 20 years or so were completely of United's own doing (like today), but of course not all of them. Its crazy for example that SAF is last win came in 2004 and his last final was in 2007 considering he stayed 9 and 7 years after those two, United should probably have in the second half of SAF career at United won at least 3-4 more FA cups at minimum, and the club should have had maybe 2 or 3 FA cups after his retirement already. SO United should probaly be sitting at maybe 18-20 FA cups by now considering that United was at the end of 1998-99 season sitting at 10 FA cups and 12 League titles (7 old division one titles and 5 EPL titles)

Have to say this was a clusterfuck from Ole.
Starting lindelof and maguire against 2 fast and physical forwards like Vardy and Iheanacho , resting our best players for one of the most important match , playing down trophy winning before the match as an ego thing , insisting on playing out from the back against a team which presses high. Not going to defend him on that.
Number of times our players give the ball away (even without being pressed) is shocking. Matic was done at the highest level last season itself and we still play him , Scott , Fred , AWB dont have enough quality on the ball , Donny not doing much when he does get the rare chance. There is so much to fix if we are going to win anything serious

Another brilliant little ditty from last night - Maguire, Lindelof and AWB had the most touches out of any United players on the pitch with 71, 71 and 90. Van de Beek and Pogba combined had 76. A diabolical combination of Rodgers tactically isolating the front 4 from our defense and our fucking manager not knowing what he's doing. If your defense is Lindelof and Maguire, wouldn't any sane man want to keep the ball away from them at all costs? Have the midfielders keep it more often than not?
