Ole, "No regrets with his starting team selection" he has to go, but its not all bad news Carrick actually stood up last night I was beginning to think he`d had both legs amputated.
They are taking he piss.

If i didn't know better then it looks like we're trying to make HM a goal scoring defender.

Woke up this morning absolutely fucking raging, and still am. This has really pissed me off. Awful result, and the manager (and thus the players, who take their cues from him) couldn't care less.

Come on Gary, for once say it like it fucking is. If you're a United fan right now you're not just demoralized you're fucking apoplectic. I know he used to be your mate and all that but for fucks sake call him out.

Aye I've just brought this up myself. It makes zero sense. Ole has both the DNA and culture of the club running deeply within him. Shame he has absolutely no fucking clue on how to manage our team. How many times have we heard West ham or Spurs fans talk about rubbish like culture and silly things like playing the West Ham or Spurs way? Its just meaningless words spouted by snake oil salesmen. I understand the culture of my company, but it doesnt mean im fit to run it.

To be fair I think if he wins nothing his mates will turn against him, 2nd place finish by default is not progress enough for me. A trophy is required

Daniel Storey on Fred: "He does 8 things well, and 2 things very badly. At Manchester United, that isn't good enough." Goes onto say Ndidi would vastly improve us.

I'd say 2 things well and 8 things very badly Fred is a bog standard player, other than running around loads, what has he got that makes him outstanding in that position? Energy is important but fundamental qualities like tactical awareness and passing is much more important. I would just play Scotty in that role and play with more creativity in midfield, honestly what has Ole got to lose? This static midfield is now having a determential impact on players like Bruno. Hes fatiqued and seeing less and less of the ball now. I dont think he can solve our midfield problems without signing players but he needs to try something ffs.

What a wasted opportunity and the bugger is probably going to be here next season as well. đ€źđ€ź

1) big match, 2) pressure on, 3) formidable opponents...... Result: Ole. so I posted this in the wrong match thread. the point remains true.

You would think giving donny a run of 6/7 games with Scott would have been ideal but no! Bought for 40 million and we have reduced his value

He works his socks off, covers a lot of ground and hassles opponents. When he does this it's enough to say he's been outstanding, or immense. Has he though? Paul Scholes used to put in outstanding performances. Bryan Robson, Roy Keane, even Paul Ince would be immense. Go watch them and then watch Fred and ask if those words should really be used to describe a single performance from him.

It's a reduction in expectation and quality that forces us to think what we're seeing is better than it actually is. We praise Fred because he works hard and puts in a challenge. We've been that shit over the last 7 years, full of guys not giving everything, that any guy who at least shows some semblance of effort gets praise. The same has happened with Dan James recently, I've been guilty of it. Always thought he wasn't even average, gets a run of games in the first team and runs about and I end up thinking he could be a squad player. He's so painfully far off that I'm embarrassed that was all it took to make me even question what he could offer us. Think McTominay offers a bit more. Can score a goal, he's more combative and think he can often set the tone for our performance with his pressing. But in an ideal world he's not a regular starter either.
