This is pretty much the only league game left that means anything. It won’t be easy given our Thursday night exploits but hopefully the lads can push through fatigue and really perform against this lot. We’re much the better side so hopefully we can prove it. As wrecked as Rashford is, I’d play him tomorrow as he’s owned Trent on numerous occasions.
3-1 Utd with Mason and hopefully Cavani continuing their goal scoring form.
Edit- remembered we play Leicester, which is obviously meaningful.

Ole has said he will pick the team based on freshness. So in other words very few changes from the team that played against Roma with Cavani possibly sitting out so he can start the second leg.

With the Rents winning yesterday, a loss for the Scouse today means they’d be 7 points behind Chelsea with four games left, and with an inferior goal difference. So realistically we end Liverpool’s season with a win today.
Hopefully that will help the lads push through fatigue and deliver a hammer blow to these bastards.

Salah is already hinting about his future, Mane is shot and Firmino doesn’t score goals. They’re rumoured to be in for Sancho as well. That ends if they’re not in the Champions League. As you say, a major overhaul is needed so this couldn’t come at a worse time for them. An awful lot of their key players are close to 30 or over, so there’s a real chance their golden period is ending. Which is glorious. |

Hopefully a decent win today but I can only watch the first half when we are usually shit.
Booked in for a meal last month with some family members at 18:00 and the wife is looking forward to it(thankfully covered and heated)so it’s set in stone that I have to go.
