The thing that pisses me off is we see at least twice a season how good Ndidi is. So either you buy him (which we won’t) or you go out and get 5he next one. Bissouma, Souarme, Zakaria and particularly Carmavinga are all available and decent prices for the first 3. We don’t have to spend huge money to upgrade the CM position. But we won’t spend any fucking money on it. Soumare is supposedly off to leicester for £25 million I mean that is disgusting! The prices available we should be getting him and Bissouma. Zakaria is avalable for 20 - 25 million!!!! Why are we sleeping on business. All those players are better than fred and 2 better than mctominay all day long.

what you need is a mobile destroyer ala Kante which would be bissouma and you need someone who can control the game with passing, intelligence but can handle themselves which would be neves. I agree if you have the right pivot it would improve the defence and the attack. We simply are running out of time with this slow build. spend £220 million this summer getting the rw, cb, rb and cmx2. Recoup £100 million plus on sales chong matic mata jones (£5 million for them) pereira (£5 million), dalot (£20 million), ddg (£40 million), lingard (£30 million) Bailly (£15 million) James (£20 million) I think selling Dalot would be another mistake. The mistake is keeping players that we arent going to play, contract runs down, we extend it in the hope of selling and then we get peanuts. If ole is staying and he doesn't rate the player then you simply need to sell rather than sleep on him. .

Sorry but Dalot isn't good enough either. How has Ethan Laird done at MK Dons, he was being bigged up as a top prospect, maybe sell Dalot and give him the chance to step up and compete with AWB. Or of course, go and get Max Aarons, but that won't happen 🤷♀️

We’re definitely not buying a midfielder this summer. Even if we do spend money, it would be on CB, RW and a striker.
I get that Pogba isn’t trusted in midfield for the big games in a way, because in some respects he’s a liability there and he’s put in some dog shit performances himself. He’s also at times been quite effective on the left with the freedom to roam. But if he can’t play CM against the likes of Villarreal, just get rid of him. I haven’t been as down on the duo of Scott and Fred as some, because they’ve had some decent games together, particularly when you need grafters against the decent sides. However, Fred in particular has hit such a woeful patch of form that you can’t be starting him in the final when Pogba should be able to play there against an ok side from another league.
Massive mistake for me starting Pogba on the left last night. It was so obvious we needed pace over there to test a weak defender in Arnold. As soon as Rashford moved over, he couldn’t cope with him. But instead we let him run the game from fucking RB with nothing to worry about going the other way. It’s just basic stuff. Anyone who watches the game knows he’s their top creator of chances and arguably their best attacking player (albeit from RB). And everyone knows he can’t go the other way. Just a bizarre decision to have Pogba there when history shows Hey Arnold is shit scared of Rashford.

We need to sort the defence because having a reliable back line means (theoretically - Ole doesn't have the bollocks for it) we can move to one DM. Currently the perfect excuse for the McTominay and Fred partnership is our porous defence. No point him having an excuse for a crap defence when the two blokes there to protect it,are as crap as the defence. Fred gave the ball 10 times last night,McT 20 times !

McFred is basically equivalent to one DM and not even a particularly good one. Our defence was worse under Jose but it wasn't as apparent because we had a much younger Matic. And there is a conveyor belt of good DMs out there. It really shouldn't be a problem position for us even with our crappy budget. And the other advantage of bringing in a good DM is that you can play Pogba in midfield as he'd have someone alongside him to do the dirty work he finds beneath him. We need to sort the defence because having a reliable back line means (theoretically - Ole doesn't have the bollocks for it) we can move to one DM. Trent is shaky, we know he can be got at yet we slept on it and put pogba there, beggars belief.

I can understand the outrage and critique of Ole, but it’s pretty disgraceful from some to hope we lose the Europa final. Success has been hard to come by post-Fergie and obviously this is not the standard we should be hoping for but it’s a cup final FFS. It’s Ole’s job for now, but I’d like to see him win something before he potentially crashes and burns next season.

Ole is going to be here next year even if we lose the final 6-0 so hoping we lose doesn’t achieve anything. Maybe, just maybe if we win it along with coming second these twats might actually back the manager. Or if and when they don’t, and as you say once he crashes and burns, at least we’ll have one positive memory from it in years to come. Despite Jose flaming out he gave us Stockholm and I’m forever grateful. Ole, despite all the evidence showing us that he’s probably not good enough, deserves at least one piece of silverware. I hope he gets it. And it may also mean we keep Bruno a bit longer because we are going to veer into Real Madrid fluttering their eyes at him sooner or later.

And only Utd could spend 80 million on a CB that needs a pacy partner to cover for his lack of pace.

Currently the perfect excuse for the McTominay and Fred partnership is our porous defence. this, This, THIS! Get a centre half that doesn't need two midfielders in front of it and we may see a side that doesn't get overrun in midfield and Fernandes can stay in his position, not tracking back making tackles. It is so blindingly obvious, it is painful to see that pairing having to play nearly every week. If only Matic was five years younger.
