Watching the goals again, can someone else please point out that Maguire didn't even attempt to close Ayling down when it was fairly clear the only option was to shoot, and also that Maguire actually turned his back on the shot? Missed the game yesterday due to a weekend away(the missus banned me from finding a pub in Salisbury to watch it in)so I have just watched it on MOTD after getting back. Looked a top performance but only seeing the highlights I couldn’t tell if that was down to us or Leeds. Probably a bit of both. This reminded me of the day following my marriage in Cyprus, taking a taxi with the missus to a pub in Larnaca to watch us play Newcastle away (when Keane punched Shearer). We got divorced two years ago. No punches exchanged. |
