Just can't get my head around the fact we won after that first half performance.

"I thought we played well first half too. Two chances, two goals. It had to stop if we are to survive. We have a habit of doing this at this club"I hate this. Fergie used to do it too in fairness. This idea of playing shite and needing desperate late sieges to fluke a late win is just "part of United. It's what this club does". Fuck off. It's a mark of an underprepared and poor team. Yes, Fergies great sides could win games late, but 90% of games were wrapped up nice and early. It's become an easy excuse for the shite we see on the pitch as just some part of what United is and always has been. How often have we seen the 1st half been beyond awful and the 2nd half an improvement under Ole? But it's "The United way to make it difficult for ourselves" No it fucking isn't, it's a sign there are clear, obvious and deep rooted problems at the club if we always need to be facing defeat and getting overran before deciding to actually turn it around. We won today. Yay. Keeps him in the job longer. Brilliant. Ole can delude himself into thinking he’s Sir Alex lite but the reality is that while we had brilliant moments such as this, we also had plenty of straightforward and boring 1 or 2 nil wins in between. The foundation of any title winning club is keeping clean sheets and winning games when all is not perfect with a sprinkle of these brilliant comebacks. Ole doesn’t and will never know how to control a game, Atalanta in a way handed this to us.

i don't think anyone that's happy we won today would disagree that the same performance against Liverpool gets us blown out in the first half. it's good that we won but no one is under the delusion that today's performance is going to get us past Liverpool.

I don't want to play in the Europa League And I don't want Ole Gunnar Solksjaer to be manager of Manchester United. I know which one is worse. He can still get sacked without us going out in the group stage.

Hope Scott doesn't read his website anymore He has a point. Don't understand how any fan can actually want their own side to lose. Regardless of what the reason is. Everyone get frustrated but it's something I just don't agree with.

Everyone get frustrated but it's something I just don't agree with. It’s also completely different when you’re at the game. You’re immersed, with friends etc. It’s easy to ask ppl to boo etc but i was at the Newcastle game earlier in the season and i was like a school boy watching Ronny again.

Chelsea are level on points at the top of the table with Liverpool. If United lose Chelsea win the title. If United win, Liverpool win the title. You telling me you'd be cheering on United? I'm being facetious of course, but still; there are reasons to want to lose sometimes.

I’m starting to be so deep in the Ole-out camp that I had to remind myself that I should be happy my team won a game. Kinda worked, kinda didn’t. At least Ronaldo scored.

It’s horrible but sometimes the only option left. I don’t necessarily want us to lose games but I certainly don’t feel depressed about the defeats like I would have back in the day. In fact that general apathy has been there for a while now. The last goal of ours that I properly celebrated (and by that I mean a full body celebration that saps energy like a sponge) was the Rashford penalty against PSG!!! Since then I’ve oscillated between “Ooh, that was a great goal” to “Burn it all to the ground”. It’s just not the same any more.

I don't think Scholesy is miserable, just often not true to the audience that pay his punditry wage, that there was a typical case in point. We all know that it was far from good again last night, normally he would have been singing the praises of his mate after a win, instead that opinion was an easy face save opinion, nothing more & one he knew he could easily get away with without ruffling OGS's feathers!

I think Ole getting sacked will have more to do with where we are standing in the league by say December. And it would be nice if we were still in the Champions League so there is the opportunity of a new manager taking over and doing a Tuchel. Because you can be sure if we do get to a position in which Ole gets the sack we will be too far off the pace to have a hope in hell of winning the Premier League and we are already out of one of the domestic cups.

We had the chance to earn it against Liverpool and lost it.
