Hopefully we've seen the last of McKenna, Phelan and Carrick getting anywhere near the coaching setup. Carrick and Phelan are staying. just short term hopefully unless RR sees anything in them. |

Any predictions on how we may line up under Rangnick? Apparently he likes a 4-2-2-2:
De Gea
Dalot Varane Maguire Shaw
Fred VDB
Sancho Bruno
Ronaldo Rashford
This idea that Ronaldo would be dropped by Rangnick is ridiculous. He will find a way to incorporate one of the greatest players in history into his line up and system. Some fresh ideas and a manager who understands tactics could revitalize Bruno and will get the best best out of Sancho and Rashford. Maguire should be dropped although my feeling is that Rangnick will persist with him at the beginning before shifting to Bailly or Lindelof.

Even Pogba might be suited to it, two sitting players behind him helps negate his lack of defensive work, he can get on the ball and take more risks. Ronnie will still play, no doubt. Cavani, Rashford, Greenwood and Martial will also get chances. AWB would be the real odd man out. That formation puts a lot of onus on the full backs to get forward and provide the width. And he's completely shite at that. So agree that I wouldn't be surprised to see Dalot given a chance at RB. Put a better number 4 in the team alongside Donny and that looks pretty decent. |

Just being reported on Sky that he is already in the country and arrived before the COVID restrictions came into place...
...so that means as soon as his work permit is granted, he can immediately start work...so maybe in time for Thursday??

Sucks that his #2 chose to stay in Moscow. But apparently he will be allowed to add two members of coaching staff. Hopefully it will be enough.
