A clean sheet is a rarity for us Ralf said we were shipping on average two goals a game and it had to be sorted out. Good start.

We looked like we knew what we were doing, that in itself is a clear step in the right direction. The win helps with confidence.
Carrick and Rangnick simply play Fred the way Brazil do, the outcome is he looks like a footballer!
Rashford better fix up as I think it's safe to say Rangnick will not be afraid to bench him for someone else that does as instructed and performs.
Looking forward to the next game for the first time in a long long time.

Generally we were well in control all game apart from that one shambolic corner. Next up in the league: Norwich (a), Brentford (a), Brighton (h), Saudis (a), Burnley (h) and Wolves (a). We need to win all 6 to get our season back on track.

Clean sheet, dominated possession, 3 points, only disappointment is we didn’t get more attempts on their goal, that’ll do for starters.

There's no way they could keep up that pace, had we scored in that first 20 minutes we would have ran out easy winners. I wasn't expecting that sort of performance first half after a handful of training sessions.

Well that was tense at times, given how dominant we were. It’ll obviously take some time to get up to the new approach, but given that RR only had one training session with the squad, that was a phenomenal change.
It’s a breath of fresh air. And it can just get better.

Fred’s a bit out of place here! They missed Giggs. Who was it under Giggs? James Wilson?

Our squad isn’t fit enough if you compare them to Scouse, City and Chelsea, I think Ralf will sort that out though.

There just not conditioned for it. 3 years of sitting off teams is a different ask physically. I'm pretty sure they prefer playing this way because there not chasing the ball all the time

Who was it under Giggs? James Wilson? Rooney, against Norwich.

I liked the fact the players looked far more assured on the ball today. Even Slabhead looked like he was caught in 16-wheelers lights, rather than the usual 18-wheeler.
And if I was Scott McTominay, I’d be very worried about where my next club is going to be. Normally rate the lad, but he looked 2 steps behind the rest of the players today.
