Every player deserves a chance to reignite their career under new management.
He's been shite but if he is willing to be patient, work hard and develop himself again, he deserves every chance.

True but any club with ambitions won’t just wait season after season for him to come good they will either loan him out or ship him out(hopefully RR moving upstairs along with a the new manager will get Utd doing just this from now on).

There is no way any well run club, with real football people in charge would pay 160-170M for Maguire, AWB and James in one go and sell your only senior 9 without any replacement and they passed up on Bruno. That was as close to complete incompetence at a top football club as you could imagine. We offloaded James, but Maguire and AWB were much bigger fuck ups. They will be hanging around for ages
Something tells me recruitment is going to improve in the next few years, both coaching staff and players! Every fan with a bit of knowledge of the game and the club, knew we desperately needed a major football executive.
Anyway hope we get a good draw on Monday. I'd love to see this team take shape and have a good run in the CL

Amad oozes quality, despite the understandable rust last night. He really should be on the bench from here on in.
Obviously we shouldn’t read much if anything into last night but yet again the dearth of quality (and numbers) in CM shone through. I felt sorry for Donny, he was doing the work of two men for most of the game.

But yeah, we were painfully powder-puff last night.

Ralf is taking a sports psychologist on but for AWB he will probably need a magician he’s garbage. Ole's first signing at £53 mill Majority of people thought it was a good signing at the time and he made a very positive start to his United career. It’s alright beating Ole over the head with it in hindsight. The bloke’s left the club and half the fucking comments in here are directed towards him. Forget about Ole and try to enjoy what the new manager is doing.

His trajectory was on the up at the time.

Of all the first team squad, AWB probably has enough credit in the bank to be given a pass, whilst getting coached by, hopefully, better coaches than he has been in his tenure here.

I think he's done as 1st choice in that role,he's not the kind of player that RR obviously looks for in that role.

The problem with Ole is while he for the most part bought into the United tradition of developing young prospects into world beaters he simply did not have the coaching ability to do it. He had no idea how to get a song out of Donny or Sancho. AWB has regressed. Rashford I think would be a world class player by now if he'd had a proper coach over the last three years and if his injury situation had been better handled. And even in Greenwood RR has already implied that his physical development has been neglected.

Btw- it’s inevitably going to be PSG in the last 16 isn’t it?
