Hard to really take anything away from that analytically. It was a team that has never played together before and never will again.
Second half we were utter shit, but so what. It was obviously about getting minutes on the pitch and the manager having a good look at everyone.
Nobody likes Robbie Savage, but what a brilliant moment that must’ve been for him.

Tonight was Ralf giving an opportunity to get some match fit and really to see who has listened and can do as he has asked.
Some will survive the Jan window and hopefully some will be shown the permanent exit door

Couldn't stay up after the first half so I saw the highlights in the morning.
When it comes to Wan Bissaka it's all lowlights. He has just disintegrated into a championship footballer. He was always poor going forward and we knew he had to develop in that regard, but he was top tier defensively. He's hot garbage right now. Wonder if he's just not putting in the effort in training anymore or he's just deceived people all along. Either way he shouldn't get a game this season until he actually improves. Luckily we have a manager now who will probably feel the same way rather than making him an automatic starter no matter what.

Feel asleep during the game but the little I saw was alright. We gave away the ball too many times and paid for it.
Either AWB has regressed or the requirements for the position now far exceeds his talents.
Elanga & Amad are still so raw they need time and maybe a few loan spells.
Bailly and Greenwood were our best players in that first half , can't blame Matic though as CB is not his natural position.

I actually think Elanga and Dialo should not go out on loan but stay and train and will get some games.
Dialo should be competing with Sancho, the kid has talent that was criminally wasted by the previous regime.
Elanga can rotate with rashford.
If lingard, martial and maybe Cavani are off in January then those two players are more than capable of stepping up thus we focus on CDM and possibly RB.
The issue with AWB is he was never worth what we paid and therefore to sell would really mean a loss of about £35 million. He is on big wages so getting rid without taking a huge hit will be hard. I’d be shocked if the message is not ‘please try and coach him until the end of the season’.
Donny might be off in Jan same with Pogba, the money will obviously allow us to get another midfielder.
Kessie a fine option for how Rangnick wants to play, Bissouma a brilliant option too, the young lad from Monaco another aswell.
I’d be all aboard any two of them to compete with MCT and Fred.

you would have thought AWB was just dragged up from the reserves at last minute. its not even little things that can be coached, like positioning. he hasnt got a clue how to control, dribble and pass a ball correctly. looks like hes going to fall over every time the ball comes to him.
unluckly we didnt put them to bed with 3 great chances missed.
loved what greenwood was doing near the end, coming in deep and pinging passes across field to help his younger team mates out.
