The truly damning thing- the vast majority of Utd fans I know aren’t even angry anymore. A 4-1 defeat in the derby would normally prompt an inquest from players, staff and fans alike. Now it prompts a shrug. Every now and then, they get me. When Sancho scored I went a bit nuts with my mate. Then the 2nd half got going, and it was just...apathy. And that's the most common feeling nowadays, which is pretty shit really. This thread would've been at least 50 pages long by midday in 'normal' times.

Barca were in even deeper shit than us but they already look like they are on their way back up , at least domestically in Spain.
I always thought we will avoid the AC Milan fate because United make so much money, but almost 10 years and so many rebuilds later things are at an all time low.
Where do we go from here ?

You don't know what to do with this guy. He's looked alright lately then he goes and does this.

Until there is substantial evidence otherwise, Arnold is a useless prick like his predecessor. You can only hope he’s learned from the past failures. I don’t want any briefs of about how much they care and that nonsense, I want to see it delivered on the pitch where it counts. Arnold gets the next managerial appointment and the summer transfer window. After that he’s judged by the harshest of standards. He’ll almost certainly fail but I’m giving him those. He's going to make Woodward look competent imo. He's an even bigger cunt I think, simply because he was hand picked by Woodward.

Barca look like they’re going to take command of the free transfer market. Rudiger and Kessie have already been linked.

I like Poch and always have. However, to me the only chance we have as a club is if we appoint Ten Hag and he quickly realises the humps in charge have sold him a pup, as per usual. Ten Hag, instead of throwing a (justified) strop, decides to go full Busby Babes/Class of 92 and just commits to youth in the first team. Menji, Hannibal, Elanga etc all become the backbone of the side. That would be exciting at least. Jot this endless cycle of shite we’ve suffered through for 9 years.

Ok , so we just need Ten Hag to agree to come here , emulate the greatest manager in football , our next batch of youngsters to be as good as class of 92 AND hope glazers and the idiots running the club to stop interfering with his plans in transfer market (like getting rid of Maguire, Fred and AWB). That should be easy !

We will most likely waste the entire window going through our 'thorough process' of appointing next manager and monitoring potential targets
