Good result.
We need Liverpool stopped from winning the league. We need them to not win the quadruple, which is actually on for them. We need to ensure we don't get top 4 as nothing else will get the cunts to sell this club. Beating City would have helped achieved none of these goals.
I'm grasping at straws but I'm hoping that the sheer state of the club will encourage a sale sooner rather than later. For years this club was an absolute cash cow for the twats; top 4 was guaranteed every season. You just had City and Chelsea to really contend with, Liverpool were shite, Arsenal dropped way off, Spurs were Spurs. Let the mega rich duo spend huge money and fight for titles, we'll plod along getting 3rd or 4th and everything's right with the world.
Then Liverpool got new owners and Klopp. Arsenal look a lot better than they were and with a lot of young players. Newcastle are mega rich. Top 4 is a damn sight harder now than it ever was. Lot less money coming into the club, also hit hard by Covid of course. Lot less reason for the owners to hang around.
Keep losing games and losing money. Long term it is 100% the best way forward for the club.
On the players; for years under Fergie you'd look at the squad and think there was no one you really wanted out the club. The odd player who you didn't care if they left or not, but no one you actively wanted rid of. Now? I honestly couldn't give a shite who is sold. 12 months ago Rashford, Bruno and Greenwood were absolutely on the "Do not sell!" list. But now? Rashford is pathetic. Bruno has been an average stat paddler for a calendar year. And as for Greenwood.......
Varane I suppose I want to stay and get a competent partner. Sancho has started shining. And I would be pissed off if Elanga, Garner, Shoretire, Amad, Hannibal, Laird, McNeil etc were to be sold off without proper chances at the 1st team. But no one else. List the absolute lot of them.

Barca were in even deeper shit than us but they already look like they are on their way back up , at least domestically in Spain. I always thought we will avoid the AC Milan fate because United make so much money, but almost 10 years and so many rebuilds later things are at an all time low. Where do we go from here ? Yep im on the same page that I don’t want top 4 for the next 3 seasons as that short term pain is necessary to get those cunts out the club. take this season getting spanked by cityx2 and the dippers would be total humiliation for owners that actually had any feelings for the club and changes would be made but if we get top 4 they will look at this season as a relative success and wouldn’t be too bothered by if it happened every season as long as top 4 was achieved. |

I dont agree with some things ex player say but at the moment their comments are spot on. Look at this squad of mentally and on occasions physically weak players moaning about everything. Take a cold hard look in the mirror boys you are a large part of the problem
