Honestly, if this guy can’t turn it around then we are probably better off disbanding the whole thing and going somewhere else.

Apparently Ralf will stay interim manager until the final game of the season so it is the perfect opportunity for Erik to get the inside scoop from Ralf on how bad things are and listen to his thoughts on potential signings and outgoings and hopefully build a good working relationship that will prevent Ralf from being completely marginalized when he drops down to 6 days a month and is focused on the Austria job. Also a great sign that Erik wants to start immediately rather than waiting for the dust to settle and this nightmare season to be over. Most likely our bunch of wasters will now put in a proper shift in the final game of the season so we can secure Europa League football which is far more preferable than Europa Conference League as we will face a better class of opposition and also have another route to Champions League football.

100%. This guy is super motivated to succeed, ruthless, tactically astute, a born winner, super professional and great at building effective teams that can punch above their weight. In other words the heir apparent to Fergie. If he fails it will be because the board frustrate the necessary overhaul so it doesn't go far enough and the remaining players do their usual thing of downing tools and refusing to follow instructions or embrace new ideas and methods. Honestly, if this guy can’t turn it around then we are probably better off disbanding the whole thing and going somewhere else.

We should win the Europa next season which would give ETH an excellent start and a real foundation to build on. We’re not winning the league next year for a myriad of reasons so a European trophy is not be sneezed at.

The thing I like most about ETH is that: 1. he is working under new management, yes same owners but new management. 2. Most importantly, it would appear the man has done his research. He has looked at the failures of others and because of that he has ensured things have been put in his contract to give him a better degree of control on the players he will have coming in and going out. Commercial aspirations will have no bearing on what he can and can't do. 3. He is coming in as a fresh winner, not past glory, this is fresh out the oven cooked. His confidence is high and that will help him flex authority where needed with the players.

I'd rather see us reclaim the Arsenal Trophy next season as a priority,we have to be up there challenging & get closer to City & the Vermin,Champions league through league position is vital.

Trophies over top 4 every day of the week. In ten years time you’ll look back on this period and you’ll remember the trophies Jose won, not the fact Ole finished 2nd. We need to start winning things again, not getting top 4 so the Glazers get richer and we get steamrolled in the first knockout game.
