Man’s work is cut out but I’m excited. I refuse to get excited this time. I wish him all the luck in the world because he's inherited a mess and untangling this squad and building a new one will be a mammoth task. I admire his guts to take this on because I'm sure he could have waited for another challenge. |

I have deliberately stopped watching any of our games for about the last two months because I couldn't stand to see these overpaid wastes of space ruin my life...
I have been waiting and hoping that we appoint Erik and I am totally realistic that he needs time and money and possibly some good luck to get us back to where we were...
I am prepared for some more time winning nothing but hoping to see his philosophy fully embraced by the whole club and eventually, I believe we will have success...

As Dazjoe said, the staff need to be sorted. I personally think that needs to be this month.
His back room staff and also staff/structure at the club. You then start sorting transfers, everyone working in 1 direction to achieve 1 aim.
1st June Judge needs to get people in an out, this all needs to be done in June, if people are doing their jobs now there is no reason this cannot be achieved.
ETH then has pre season with the tools he needs for the most important season we will have had in since Sir Alex Ferguson retired.
On a side note, it seems murtough is in charge of the football side of things as Arnold is not being attached to statements the way Woodward was

I want entertainment. He needs 5 years minimum before we're competing. And that's assuming Liverpool and City don't pull even further away. If we're in Europa Conference, that could be a good way, next season, to blood some kids, see who's going to take us later into this decade, and hopefully do well enough in it to go all the way and embed a culture of success and winning things. Nonsense like I saw in another thread if he picks Maguire it'll be #TenHagOut within seconds of the first game of the season is not helping anyone. |

This is the first managerial appointment that the whole fan base has got behind.
Hopefully this is a huge turning point in our decade of shite.
Get us back loving the club and the trophies will eventually come. But just entertain us first and get us back enjoying watching the team!
