It's because it does not matter if you sign genuinely good players when you persist with proven shit around them. Casemiro doesn't start ahead of McTominay for fuck sake. We started the season with Martinez having to attempt to carry the Cunt. Shaw still here, Lindelof, Rashford, Fred. The list is endless. I think the biggest issue is what we pay these pricks. They have a bad game, they just get on with their lives when they get home. There is no desire to win titles and get improved, highly salary contracts because they are already on sky high salaries. Probably why 95% of the squad show zero desire when they’re on the pitch. There is zero consequence after a result like today or a season like last year. They had a reduction in salary last year because they didn’t get into the CL but salaries are still higher than what they’d get elsewhere. And in regards to pay we haven't learnt. antony is on £200k a week, at Ajax he was on less than £30k i believe. why oh why when you are the only team in for him and he is desperate to come do you pay him silly sums. Sancho is on stupid money, it's borderline criminal. I could go through the list. DDG is the highest paid keeper in the world! it just beggars belief how we are run. A new era and yet the smells of the past linger |

Sat on his hands after the second goal, probably hoping for half time and then subs on Luke Shaw on the second half 4 nil down.
Should be sacked for that alone.
Even if Casemiro was a Glazer vanity shirt selling transfer he shouldn’t be sat on the bench for McTominay to exist in our midfield…EVER.

Yes unfortunately he is starting, this means we are going to try and play on the break, we have to hope any chances fall to Antony as Rashford will fluff them. City look good but with Haaland they have become a one trick pony and if he can be kept quiet they are beatable. City fans had better hope that he stays fit otherwise they will have to rely on Foden and Mahrez falling over in and around the box. ……ok. Well that didn't go well, Haaland destroyed us as we invited them on, Rashford was useless as an outlet and attacking force and surely it is time he left or was left out of the squad, a spell in the reserves may get his work ethic back. The late goals came as City relaxed at 6 goals and Martial has no consistency so he is not the answer up front, long term. Ronaldo is the best goal scorer at the club so should start every game that he is fit for, Casemiro has to start too, it was a great strike from Antony but we have too much mediocrity still in the squad. It is going to take time before the manager can make anything decent of it, we rode our luck against Liverpool and Arsenal and got good results but you could see we were still vulnerable. It is pointless to keep changing managers without getting the deadwood out of the club and bringing in talent. |
