That's not true. There was no bite, no one would pay up. Behind closed doors it was a 'Fine he can leave, we want £££' The response, 'he should go on a free' The response,' He has a contract, we won't block a move but it needs to benefit everyone, get ££' The response 'ok' Reality was no one would bite. Whichever way you look at it Ronaldo should act better, I understand his time is coming to an end and he has great ambitions to ensure his legacy is unrivalled etc etc but he should not do it to the detriment of his team and character. Mendes needs to earn his top dollar and find an agreement that suites everyone in January. Ronaldo will need to take less in wages and the club will need to accept less in a fee if any So Roy Keane is a liar then? Maybe ten Hag should act better, instead of outright lying in pre-match interviews and then sending Elanga and McTominay on instead of the bloke he said would come on.Not quite the case was it. Out of curiosity, what's your stance on the whole Ronaldo situation now?

Ronaldo out the squad for Chelsea. Deserved. Yeh and i think this works best for both parties. He can go get ready for the WC and we’ll focus on our next games

I really do like this guy. He really isn't afraid to make decisions others wouldnt. It's his way or your out, just the way it should be.
It had to be done aswell to show that no player is above the team. I get the frustration but Ronaldo has brought this on himself.

Really enjoyed the game last night, thought they all played their part ,particularly Bruno,Marcus, Dalot and Fred ,although the latter is as frustrating as fuck when, for instance ,in the second half he won the ball back in their half with a brilliant bit of “see you later” and then immediately gave the damn ball away! I was also horrified at Ronaldo’s petulant behaviour, stropping off down the tunnel before the final whistle. That was utterly unacceptable whatever his GOAT status, and potential clubs will have seen that! I hope Erik ripped him a new one today ,and am really pleased that he’s been omitted for the Chelsea game. He’s only damaged his own reputation by doing this, the utter berk.

Don’t think I’d invite him to dinner, given his gloomy demeanour, but he’s not here for that! I love him-in a manly-type way, obviously 🙄😂

Pretty brutal but so accurate. Whilst it didn't cost us last night, it has before and will continue to do so. We either need to see improvement very soon, or he gets binned off. You can’t coach that. You either have it or you don’t. Rashford has never had it. Which is okay, he’s a makeshift CF. We need a proper one big time. You can absolutely coach that

Asked about Ronaldo’s lack of game time after the game on his YouTube channel, Ferdinand, failing to condemn the “superstar’s” embarrassing behaviour, chose to take issue with Ten Hag’s decision to keep him at the club.
He said: “My only thought could be is that Cristiano Ronaldo is being saved for the weekend against Chelsea.
“That’s the only way that I see it, logically, that he did not play [last night]. I think Ronaldo will be absolutely fuming with that, naturally.
“I wouldn’t expect anything different from him. I think the big problem Erik ten Hag has got is that, coming up to this next window, he has to think very carefully about what he does.
“If he doesn’t see Ronaldo as a starter in his team more often than not, I think he has to release him from his contract.
“He has to let him go. It’s not fair on anybody, on the club, on Ronaldo, on Ten Hag, that the first question after every game is ‘Why didn’t Ronaldo start?’
“That will be a story. United won 2-0 and the leading story will be about Ronaldo. That can’t be right. The first line is something I thought of tbh, i thought maybe a mad Ronaldo playing on the weekend will just show the world that he is the boss. But whichever way you want to fluff it up he knows all eyes are on him and what he did would be something that people try and use to detract from the solid performance yesterday. I expect Rio to just be honest and say "Ronaldo at 20, 25, 30, 37 0r 50 years of age is a born winner! He will always want to play at the highest level, will always want to back himself and not playing will hurt him, however to walk away knowing camera's will catch that is just not good and in his quiet moment he will know that. Not a chance. We play better and have a better chance of winning when Ronaldo does not play, it's a simple fact. Hence why none of this bothers me. Let's stop worrying about one fucking players feelings or his already impeccable legacy. We had enough of that shit with Pogba.

Out of curiosity, what's your stance on the whole Ronaldo situation now? He has every right to be fucked off. Was obviously given promises about transfers that were broken, he has come back to a club that he won the European Cup for and was the elite club in world football to find it a decade plus in regression, and when he asked to leave he was told no. A, in global football terms, no mark manager then doesn't even play him in favour of a failed non-striker (who literally gave United supporters the finger and told them to fuck off but is apparently on the thick end of an agenda if criticised) or a bloke who has given us about eight combined good months of goal-scoring in seven years. Ronaldo has had his ability questioned, his professionalism questioned, multiple media campaigns smearing him led by that self-interested relegation specialist cunt Maguire, and now United supporters on his back. So much self-righteous indignation going on. So yeah, I think the whole thing could have been handled better. And people on here will gripe and give off at me but the level of rank disrespect for Ronaldo makes me sick and disugusted. Forget that he's a genuine football-transcedent superstar, he's a United legend. I'll probably be hounded off the forums now.
