He's the worst defender at the club. Ten Hag doesn't need to justify his decisions either, he has a system and is picking players based on what fits best, Maguire doesn't. I dont agree with some of the abuse hes had but Instead of questioning why he doesn't start for united they need to question why he starts for England. The proof is there for all to see. This season Ten Hag dropped Maguire, performances and results improved, especially in defence. Southgate picks him and they haven't won a game in 6. I know it's not all on him but people keep continuing to make him out to be better than he is. |
