And Ole seemed to dislike him for no reason at all also. Almost completely omitted him Jose signing. Yup I remember Jose saying we signed the best RB of his age group at the time

Dalot is a new player under this manager. So happy to see him flourish. He had a lot of potential when Hose brought him in and Ole destroyed him. Good to see him cement that role. And Ole seemed to dislike him for no reason at all also. Almost completely omitted him For a time it seemed like wan Bissaka could scrape the bottom of the barrel, dig six feet further down and still be undroppable. Ole has done immense damage to this club in his time as manager. Ten hag needs to undo that, and stamp his own authority. He’s done very well so far.

I reckon I’ve watched every iteration of the game yesterday,a brilliant, collective performance, that snuffed West Ham out completely; obviously with the help of Maguire’s inner thigh, Dalot’s fantastic anticipation, and DDG being (almost) superhuman in his efforts.

Went to this but watched the highlights this morning regardless as I always do if it’s a win. Moyes was saying they deserved more from the game, as was Antonio in the studio. Bullshit. You turn up and defend for 80mins, still making negative changes while 1-0 down. You deserve nish. Even in the latter stages the best chance fell to Fred. West Ham fans were silent throughout the game and if you look at their general reactions online, they’ve had enough of Moyes and his negative tactics. Anyway, there’s a more positive atmosphere in the ground at the minute. It felt a big result at the end. And it is because we’d have lost that or drew 0-0 last season. Think everyone’s already pointed out the key players. We’ve gone from not buying the kind of midfielder we need for about fifteen years to having one of the best starting midfields in the league. But let’s not forget this is by luck, not judgement. If Eriksen wasn’t free we wouldn’t have been interested and Casemiro was only signed after Rabiot fell through and as a response to the massive amount of backlash online. The Brighton and Brentford thrashings actually did us a favour. I have no doubt the Glazers would have been happy making do with what we had if the spotlight hadn’t been on them for being the weasels they are.

Biggest damage Ole did was squandering £400m which gives Arnold and Murtough an excuse for penny pinching.
Give Erik another £200m and he has a chance of finishing off the rebuild over the next few transfer windows.

Hopefully that experience will finally rid the fanbase of the mindset about ex players that ‘get the club’ should always be considered for roles they have no right to be in.

I love Ole but he was completely the wrong fit for the club. He was put there because the dickheads above him thought that people would never turn on a player as well loved as he was. But his vast inexperience and lack of authority ultimately led to his downfall and the rest is history. Luckily we seem in a position now where we can start looking forwards now and Judging by what we've seen so far they have to give him what he needs if we are to get to where we should be.

Unless it's Gerrard to Liverpool. I'm all for that. I want the day to come where they boo or start giving their legend endless shit 😏
