Went to this but watched the highlights this morning regardless as I always do if it’s a win. Moyes was saying they deserved more from the game, as was Antonio in the studio.
Bullshit. You turn up and defend for 80mins, still making negative changes while 1-0 down. You deserve nish. Even in the latter stages the best chance fell to Fred.
West Ham fans were silent throughout the game and if you look at their general reactions online, they’ve had enough of Moyes and his negative tactics.
Anyway, there’s a more positive atmosphere in the ground at the minute. It felt a big result at the end. And it is because we’d have lost that or drew 0-0 last season.
Think everyone’s already pointed out the key players. We’ve gone from not buying the kind of midfielder we need for about fifteen years to having one of the best starting midfields in the league. But let’s not forget this is by luck, not judgement. If Eriksen wasn’t free we wouldn’t have been interested and Casemiro was only signed after Rabiot fell through and as a response to the massive amount of backlash online.

And so is not backing the manager when he is trying to impose those standards and we can see it working, it's been a team game thus far this season. I will admit, I had my doubts on ETH in the beginning, and after the first two games, nothing changed with more of the same dross from last season, I was blaming it all on him. And now I also have to admit, he has turned things around. He knows how to win games on the counter, grind out results, dominating. We have already seen a few different ways United won this season. Sure the loss with City was hard but you could see the confidence of the team was low, I am very confident the game at OT with City will be a totally different affair, we might lose but it wont be an easy tie for City. We can see the changes, we can see a system and the best of all the confidence is coming back, we need to back the manager! PS: It doesnt mean we back the owners, it is still Glazers Out all the way
We all know the standards this club should be at and they absolutely should be held to those standards. However you can't expect a new manager to turn it around overnight or keep picking faults from the off. He's going to make them, it's how he learns from them which is what he's doing. He's getting far more criticism by some than he getting praise and the constant negative outlook gets boring after a while, especially on social media. He's shown so far that he has the capability to make tough decisions when it counts and has a plan in place. Until he has other options he can only work with what he has available. Still a lot of work to do and the next 2 windows are vital for us and him. But the future is looking a lot brighter than expected at this point which is what we want to be seeing. Mourinho won two trophies in his first season. That makes him our most successful manager since Ferguson, so that is the standard.

This whole Ronaldo going up to the pundits and only shaking hands with the people who haven't slagged him off is getting boring now
Was funny with Carra once

There's nothing to say Ten Hag can't either. He's got a good foundation to work with now. Hopefully add to it in Jan and there's absolutely no reason why we can't win at least one cup.

No, the point was it is impossible to judge after only a few months.

Seeing far too many people judging him already, nit picking with him, even calling for him to be sacked. The guy needs time to deliver. Confident that he'll do just that aswell.

Dalot is a new player under this manager. So happy to see him flourish. He had a lot of potential when Jose brought him in and Ole destroyed him.
Good to see him cement that role.

Love how everytime Dave makes a top save he's one of the first to go up to him and hype him up for it aswell. Made me laugh as it looked like he was gonna put him on his arse at one point. 😂

I find it amusing that over £200m of the "talent" purchased by Ole is either on the bench or on loan (Maguire, AWB, Donny, Amad, Pellestri) with another £130m likely to join them on the bench (Bruno and Sancho) if we sign a top quality midfielder and striker in the summer.
We ain't the same team and that is a very good thing.

I thought him and Dalot were immense yesterday. DDG had a great game too. As for CE, his vision and passing is sublime. He should have been a united player years ago. I really am liking to team effort from our back line. The bond since Varane and co came in is a joy to see, slab head just winds me up to fuck. The sooner he is out of the club the better. To go from what we’ve had to make do with, to both Eriksen and Casemiro in one window is an insane improvement. I just hope we don’t allow the transition from these two lads to their eventual replacements take so long. The state we allowed our CM to become in the 2010s was dire. We've seen what a huge difference a world-class DM makes so we really should be thinking long-term already. Bring in a young player who can learn from Casemiro for the next 2-3 seasons and then take over from him.
