I don't care what anyone says in his defence, ten Hag continuing to allow Maguire to be captain is rank cowardice. It sends a dreadful message. oh....kay, Ronaldo FC 
It is clear with slobheat we are way to open defending a high line. Once we went so deep 2nd half he looked better. It is obvious ETH hasnt a choice with every one else out but the sooner he is sold the better.
Ronaldo upfront it is also clear he aint the answer, he is coming deep passing backwards then slow up top. He had his chances too, anyone still thinking he is gonna score 20 goals is deluded.
Rashford's goal was mint, another header, just brilliant. Shows he's best coming in from wings.
Best game for Dalot! lost count the clearences. Different player...Martinez just class and Shaw good going forward.
De Gea MoM, just criminal he aint in the national squad , agree with all.
6 off City, we need to keep winning this run going against the bottom half.

Is it me.. or is Ronaldo done? I’ve suspected this for a while now, as he hasn’t looked anywhere near sharp enough this season.. but he really seems done now I think.

Nah, Rashford scored in fairness. In a 1-0 it has to be him. DDG kept 2 if not 3 out today. Maybe Fred hitting the post could be argued, but other then that we had nothing else on offense to speak of but the 1 goal. |

Bruno disappointing again for me. The work rate is there but I still get the feeling that he isn't a good fit in this Ten Hag team. We are still far too over reliant on Eriksen to provide the creative spark and I think we'd be better off buying a quality midfielder in the summer to play alongside Eriksen and Casemiro in a midfield three.
Defence held up reasonably well. But we shouldn't be putting it under such pressure. Thank God for Dave but again he shouldn't be getting so much action.
We need to get better at controlling games. Also 3 shots on goal is pretty pathetic at home against midtable opposition especially as West Ham were going for the equalizer. If our attack was more potent I don't think they would have been so brave or if they had been they would have been put in their place.
A lot of work still to do. But a win is a win and we are well in contention for top 4 and should be much better second half of the season as Erik's influence over the team grows.
But really could do with buying a quality midfielder and a striker and fast-tracking Garnacho into the first team. RB less of a priority with Dalot improving so much this season.

Bruno needs to look where he's passing the fucking ball because that one assist in 3 isn't good value at all. He has to play centrally for me but he needs to stop giving it away for fun |

The glaring difference between us and rest of top 6 is horrible goal differential. Our three losses we were battered. A good striker is essential in January. Until then the current drop have to bury the chances they get. ETH had a good post match interview on the die;d. Seems to be getting g more comfortable in the role and saying what he thinks. GNev asked if with Dalot improving do,they really need another RB. He responded about all the improving phases of Dalits game but said we need two quality players in that position because we want to be playing in European games and need depth at all positions. Liked his attitude during interview
