He’s 100% correct but a lot of those average players are still at the club and some of his signings are not going to ultimately work out. So let’s see over the coming years if he is ruthless enough to shift dead wood and cut his losses. His treatment of Maguire has been encouraging and we haven’t seen much of McFred which has been a relief but ultimately they all need to be sold and upgraded. But Donny Sancho and Martial should be shifted this summer unless they show a miraculous turnaround in form.

The problem is his hand is forced atm to use some of them because of the lack of squad depth. He'll know which players aren't pulling their weight. He's dropped enough of them to suggested this.

Ten Hag: "The club has bought an unimaginable number of players in recent years who have not been good enough." Please no one tell me this man is a puppet. Don't be silly. He lies to the fans 👀 Your constant attempts to put in sly digs to other members has been noted. Put a stop to it please.

I see you start things for absolutely no reason on a regular basis. I don’t see others do it as regular. Ends today.

Nobody quite shits on their new players like us. Antony has only been playing football in Europe for a little under 3 years, the first 2 1/2 spent in a far easier Dutch league. Call me crazy but maybe we can afford him just a little time before declaring him a dud and a waste of money. We have the worst fanbase for it. If it's not a player it's the manager. And I can guarantee you there are people on the edge of their seats waiting for Rashford to have a poor game so they can say it was just a run of luck or for us to lose a game so they can claim they're still not convinced with Ten Hag. It's just sad at this point. But by the same token I don’t know any other club/ fans who give as much leeway with performances as we do with our players. Look how many times Jones got injuries as an excuse for not actually being that good in the first place if we’re being really honest. He’s one example there are others. Under ruthless Fergie pre Glazer ownership it wasn’t like this. These players were given few opportunities and then shipped off. No coincidence the trophies have dried up since we embraced the keep at all cost mentality.

He is a decent footballer for one game a season. Particularly as there are definitely other more egregious examples of us holding on to total shit for balance sheet reasons.

Phil Jones first season he absolutely looked a player, and you could see why United and every other club in the top 6 went for him at the time.
He's been dreadfully and heartbreakingly unlucky with injuries. The club can be given abuse for the long term deals he was given and that he's still here having barely kicked a ball for several years, but he's always given the impression of someone desperate to get fit and play again. Others might think he's happy to sit here picking up his cheque for doing nothing but I honestly don't think he's like that.

Remember when he used to burst out from CB and carry the ball about 70 yards? He was actually exciting. Put in an unbelievable performance as a DM away to Madrid as well. Him and Smalling were England’s U21 partnership and we had both of them. Everything looked really promising at the time.

Got a new contract after Jose was sacked. Couldn’t wait to give him one. Absolute morons.
